The Everlasting Life

The blazing sun light shun in my room. It burned like an uncontrollable fire. The sun had never settled with me, I lived in pure darkness. My peace; my sanctuary. Every morning was like every other. I would stay home and take care of my only son. My smile was disappearing from my face; I'd lost all happiness within me. Depression spread in my body. The tragic death of my son Adam, was unbearable. This, leaving me no choice, but to follow him, to take my own life. Glancing outside my window, I noticed the hardened soil below the house. Opening the door to my balcony, I carefully stepped on my white trim railing. Taking a deep breath and saying my last goodbyes, I took a leap for the worst and jumped into the blue open skies. My flight of freedom had ended. I was paralyzed, on the ground. My heart stopped, my breath gone. The end was near. A sea of blackness surrounded me eyes, leaving me blind. I was taking my everlasting sleep in the heavens, until I had awoken in an unfamiliar place.
