Terminator Chronicles Volume 1:
Second Chances.
Prologue
For John Connor his life and destiny had been laid out before he was even born. The path he had to walk, he tried to escape. However a trip to the future showed him the true horrors of what would become of the world without him. He had sacrificed the world out of selfishness, all because he couldn't accept who and what he really was.
He was humanity's only hope against Skynet, but he threw it away for a Cyborg. A Cyborg that he had been treating like the enemy because he was afraid. It took loosing that Cyborg to make him realise what he always had. However in trying to get the machine back, he left the world without the hero it needed.
The Year is now 2029 and John Connor has been in this future without hope for two years. In that time he has become what the world needed, what both humanity and the machine rebellion needed him to become. Unfortunately he became what he needed to be too late and now the Skynet is on the verge of wiping out what is left of the human race.
John Connor, still has one last hope left to him. To take back what he has learned into the past to reshape the future. A second chance to become the man that the world truly needs. A second chance to fix the mistakes of his own past.
John Connor had a destiny to uphold, and now he was finally ready to do just that.
