Ginny woke to the feeling of strong, protective arms around her and a warm body pressed against hers. The corners of her mouth turned up and she resisted opening her eyes so she could savor the moment. She had never been a morning person, but now that she woke up to Harry, it had quickly become one of her favorite parts of the day. The rhythmic rise and fall of his chest, the hands that held her so tenderly, and the breath that fell across her neck were the first sensations to reach her consciousness each morning and she relished them all. She had waited her entire life for this—for him. Her smile widened as she opened her eyes and her breath caught at his beauty. His endearingly messy hair, his long dark lashes that contrasted his smooth, slightly tanned skin, and his tempting lips made her melt and she marveled at the fact that he was hers. She felt him inhale deeply and watched as his eyes slowly fluttered open. His eyes, the most beautiful green that she had ever seen, never failed to captivate her and as they met her own, his lips broke into the warm, heart-stopping smile that was so familiar and so beloved by her.

Time seemed to stop for a moment as his eyes searched hers and she lifted a hand to stroke his cheek. He leaned into her touch and turned his head into her palm to kiss it. She felt a swooping sensation in her stomach and wondered briefly if she would ever get used to this. No, she decided; the wonder, the passion, the overwhelming love she felt for this man would never fade. Every look, every touch, every kiss, felt like the first and the flood of emotion that came with each was not something she thought one could ever get used to. She loved him for everything that he was—sweet, caring, brave, kind, loving...he was everything. There was nothing she would not do for him, nowhere she would not follow him.

Her gaze drifted to his lips as he wet them with his tongue. He caught the direction of her thoughts and leaned closer to press his lips to hers, gentle and achingly tender at first then more insistent as he parted her lips with his tongue to deepen the kiss. Her heart beat rapidly and her body thrummed with the feelings Harry created within her as she responded eagerly to his lips. She felt as if she was falling off the edge of her mind as she became lost in him. He broke the kiss and pressed his lips to hers once more before pulling away to smile at her.

"I love you," she whispered.

"I will always love you. I will always want you," he replied softly, bringing his forehead to rest against hers.

He wrapped his arms more securely around her and as they drifted back to sleep, she couldn't help but feel that he was heaven on earth.
