It has been two weeks since anyone has seen or heard from Harry Potter. The person in question has also not been seen since around the third week of June. He was last seen with his relatives going home from Kings Cross station, he then disappeared after that.
Albus Dumbledore was a calm and patient man. He usually knew what to write, to say and to do. Today was different. He sat in his office with a frustrated crease on his forehead. He didn't know where or why Harry has disappeared, and he hated not knowing something. Placed in front of him on his desk was a letter written by Harry Potter's freckled friend, Ron Weasley.
Dear Professor Dumbledore,
I haven't heard from Harry in a while and all the letters I sent him didn't look like it has been opened. Do you know where Harry is or why he isn't answering my letters? I was told that he disappeared but you usually know what is going on. I miss my best mate and want to talk to him.
Ron.
P.s. Mum is terrified of what's happened, so it would be nice if your letter could be addressed to her for a little bit as well.
"Alas, Mr. Weasley," Albus said softly. His face showing concern. "Nobody knows where Mr. Potter has gone." He looked up at Fawks, his Phoenix companion. "Where are you Harry? Why aren't you home?" Fawks gave a sad trill, but in that sadness it contained hope. Fawks knew where Harry was, but he wasn't going to bring him back. He needed to prepare for what his to come, and Fawks thinks that these people will be the ones that will be able to prepare and stick with him till the very end.
Mean while, a boy with messy raven black hair, glasses and stunning green eyes, was sitting on a rug in front of a fire. Harry was talking to a beautiful girl with honey eyes and long silky auburn hair, and a guy with blue eyes and platinum blond hair that was almost bordering on silver. The girl was laughing so hard that she had tears spilling out of her eyes, the blonde guy had a playful smirk on his face and Harry looked clueless but was grinning because of the sound of his friends laugh.
"Why!" The girl gasped. "Why in the world would anyone do that! Please tell me he broke his leg jumping off the broom. Jai, please tell me!" She begged the blonde guy, Jai.
"He didn't break his leg, sadly. He did fracture it though." Jai said with a cheerful grin. Harry looked between his friends.
"I don't get it." He said at last with a slight confused frown. "What's so bad about that? He wasn't far off the ground and the snitch was just in his reach. I think that's a spectacular catch. And by the way, it shouldn't hurt when you jump off, I did that in my first year and just rolled onto the ground. I did manage to catch the snitch in my mouth though." He said as an afterthought. The two looked at him with wide eyes.
"You are by far the weirdest person I've ever met." The girl said.
"I agree with Prim. You are so weird. Why in the name of Merlin would you jump off your broom just to catch a snitch?" Jai said, his voice betraying a little bit of awe.
"I don't know. Wasn't really thinking anything through." Harry shrugged. Yes, Harry was a weird kid and he still is. He has been in more trouble than anyone at school, and this wasn't detention or speaking to teacher troubles, it was more like facing the murderer who killed your parents in first year, getting your skin peirced with basilisk venom while fighting one, surviving hundreds of dementors who were trying to get to you godfather who was a wrongfully convicted criminal on the run, and getting thrown into a tournament where people have died and winning it just so he got to be present at the rebirth of the noiseless murderer of your parents. Of course there were lots of things that happened in between them, but these stick out the most.
"Well, you may be weird but you are the best weird possible. Why else would we be your friends?" Prim said. She put a hand on his shoulder. Both she and Jai knew what Harry has gone through and they have listened and helped him in anyway they can. They met purely coincidentally and have been with each other since Harry left Privet Drive. They thought of themselves as family they never had. All of them were orphans and wanted to know what it would be like to have siblings that care for you and love you. Primrose had a brother at her adopted families house, but he was always mean to her because his parents were always doting on her. Jai didn't have a brother and his family was fine, but things got a bit strained when his adopted mum died. And Harry, well, he just despised his relatives. They met in Diagon Alley at Flourine Fortescue's. They all hitted off straight away. Conversations of what they were doing here alone came up when they didn't see each other's guardians or parents.
"So, where's your guardians Harry? Jai?" Primrose asked.
"Uhh... I decided to live somewhere else because Mark, my dad, is getting annoyed at me all the time. I wanna go to Hogwarts and he didn't let me go in first year, and now that I have enough money, I could go to live somewhere else and start at Hogwarts. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to start fifth year straight away if I read all my books." He replied. Prim looked at him weirdly for a second and then looked at Harry.
"I'm running away from my relatives because they are a bunch of idiots." He said. He didn't mention what goes on that house hold, he didn't want to even think of what he has endured for 14 years. "You, Prim?"
"Funny that." She said with a slight laugh. "I was going to live somewhere else as well. Can't stand being where that monster of a brother is." They all looked at each other and burst out laughing.
Now, they all lived at Potter Manor. Harry found out about his estates at Gringotts and invited his two new friends to come with him. They may not have met for very long but they felt like they could relate to each other like no one else has done for them. Prim And Jai we're going to start fifth year at Hogwarts. Prim couldn't go because her parents wanted her near them at all times and thought that normal education would be better.
"We have an appointment with Gringotts tomorrow." Prim said. The other nodded their heads and got up. They would have to be up early to prepare for the day. Doing business with goblins can be hard work.
"Well, goodnight guys." She waved, and walked off to her bedroom.
"Cya tomorrow." Jai said and followed out the door.
"Bye guys." Harry said. He looked over his shoulder to a portrait of two people. "Goodnight mum. Goodnight dad." He smiled. The two people smiled down at him from the mantelpiece.
"Goodnight son." James Potter yawned.
"Night night, sweet heart." Lily Potter waved.
Harry walked out of the door to his room. Tomorrow would be a busy day.
[Aaaaaaaand CUT! First chapter done and dusted. Same deal as other stories, won't update regularly and depends on which story I want to write about. Hope you like it. I need to do a lot of chopping and changes to many different things so it won't be great for people who are very original story compliant. But hopefully it would be a good story.
