gossamer
fragility to its core
barely standing
with nothing surrounding
this is all there is to see
she is lonely
all alone, with no-one around to protect
no one to save her
(or be saved)
lonesome
with a tear of crystal
and a heart of pain
unshielded
friends surround her
united with one another
but split in her
she has been alone so long
she cannot trust them
trust
is such a lonesome word
when no-one around is there for you to trust
((she has been alone for perhaps three days, less some. she knows that it is them, really back in her arms and her heart. and yet she can't shake the feeling that something is terribly, dreadfully wrong, and she will never be able to trust them again. for one single moment, when they were in galaxia's clutches, she almost believed they were gone, that they were really gone.))
gossamer
is friendship and love in the face
of pure evil
shattered like glass or a spider's web
she should have known
they would never leave her
but the pain she feels at a betrayal
of any kind was too great
and for a minute, she almost hated...
hate
pure and violent hate
stronger than an ocean wave
or the current underneath
...them
galaxia is the wave
they are the current
apart, they are destroyed
together, they break you
(like gossamer)
((she is torn, a shattered form, for believing galaxia's lie. they would never hurt her intentionally, but she couldn't trust them for even one minute. she is no kind of friend, no type of leader. swept away in a wave of hatred and pain, she can hardly feel any emotion, save one.))
hatred
toward herself
towards former galaxia
towards her mother for sending her here
to live in this weak form
(not ikuko-mama thought, never)
princess and guardians
or girl and friends
she had failed them
she can't stand them
she can't be without them
why, Luna why, had she doubted them?
why can't she trust?
gossamer
something light, delicate, or insubstantial
a film of cobwebs floating in air in calm clear weather
broken
she is gossamer
they are gossamer
love, hate, trust
they are gossamer.
and they have been broken.

A writer's ideas are like gossamer - easily broken, but beautiful when completed.
