"You stink."

He didn't mean it in a mean way. He hardly ever meant it in a mean way but that didn't stop Sakura's small nose from flaring. She stood from the log they were sharing, huffing and puffing across their makeshift bonfire. Kakashi pretended to read, lone eye watching Sakura wiggle closer to Naruto.

"Naruto-kun," she urged, poking him roughly in the arm. "I need to ask you a serious question."Blue eyes met hers, half-eaten fish now dangling in his grasp. He licked each one of his fingers dry before acknowledging the only female member of their team, "Wassup, Sakura-chan?" A second passes. "Oh, Kami, what's that sme-?"

Sakura grumbled. She was going to get this 'laundry in the wild' thing down one way or another.

Barely sparing Sasuke a glance, she rose again, sticking out her tongue. "That's why you smell like flowers!"

He grunted, shrugging, "You weren't complaining before."

Kakashi giggled.
