Behold, the first and the last time any of you will probably see fluff coming from me. This was done for Zaquix's fluff drabble contest. The requirements were a pairing, and a single word for the fluff to center around. I do hope you guys enjoy it! ^_^
Band-Aid
"Come on, take it."
Sasuke was suppressing the urge to twitch. Currently he was being followed (stalked, more like...) by his persistent, porn-reading teacher, Kakashi.
"No," Sasuke grumbled, and picked up his pace to try and deter the other man from following him home.
"You'll need it," Kakashi insisted, matching the boy's pace. Was that a gleam of amusement in his teacher's visible eye? Sasuke's cheek gave into its impulse and twitched fervently.
The boy's pace increased to somewhere between a jog and a run. It was almost as if he were running from something else, he thought.
"No, I'm not going to need it."
"Yes, you will."
The jog became a definite run.
"Leave me alone, and for God's sake, stop following me!"
"I can't do that, Sasuke," Kakashi said as he caught up and took hold of the boy's elbow. Suprisingly, Sasuke stopped running and turned to wrench his elbow out of the other man's grip.
Kakashi finally got a good look at Sasuke's murderous expression, complete with the cheek twitching. It only made him all the more amused with his petulant student. Oh, and was that a pout he spied? Kakashi grinned. Sasuke exploded and the temperature around the pair grew.
"I don't need a freakin' band-aid!" he shouted, "I don't have any scrapes or cuts! Get it through your thick head!"
Sasuke took in a ragged breath, and had the decency to look somewhat ashamed at his outburst. Kakashi's expression suddenly became very serious.
"Cuts and scars don't have to be on the outside, Sasuke. Events we live through are sometimes much more emotionally scarring than even the most horrid physical violence. But sometimes, things can be fixed. Don't look at me like that, now. I'm telling the truth. Maybe all it takes to fix you is someone to patch you up."
Sasuke blinked in understanding and took the proffered item without another word. His teacher smiled merrily and vanished in a puff of smoke.
As he continued on home, the boy couldn't help but to think that his teacher was like the little band-aid he held in his hands.
How was it? Drop me a quick review, they make me eternally happy! :).
