Hi, I know that this is really short, but its my first fanfiction, and I haven't written anything like this before, all my previous work has been essays for school. Anyways, please let me know what you think of it, and if you find any mistakes or ways that i can improve my writing, then please don't hesitate to tell me. I accept critisism in all its forms
Thnx Mare
She awoke to several continuous knocks on her door. It was weekend, Saturday to be exact, and she had been sleeping even though the hour bordered eleven. It had been an exhausting two weeks at the Jeffersonian, Booth had brought a case in which a young boy of about six was murdered, they found out, by his angry mother's ex, because the man thought that the mother had broken-up with him on the boy's request.
She donned her robe and headed towards her apartment door, to answer the incessant knocking. She opened the door to find Booth standing there, two cups of coffee in hand and what promised to be a box of doughnuts. They said good mornings, and she ushered him in after he looked at her pointedly.
Booth headed to the couch directly, placing the coffee cups and, what in fact was, the doughnut sack on the table. Reclining on the sofa, Booth did what he'd been dying to do since he entered the apartment. He looked Brennan up and down, noticing the sleep-mussed hair, the robe, and the bare feet she was trying so valiantly to hide. He finished his inspection and looked back up to her face to realise that she'd been watching him with that cute disconcerted look on her face, it was so rare to catch Bones disconcerted. He looked her in the eyes and smiled at how she looked, all sleepy-eyed and disgruntled.
Booth got up and pulled her in his embrace. Sleepy, foggy brained Brenan was the recipient of a kiss, from the FBI hottie, meant to wake her up. And it did that alright, she was wide-eyed and very deliciously aware of the turbulent kiss, and the handsome man giving her a wake-up call in his own way.
A while later, after they stopped kissing, Brennan smiled into Booth's eyes, happy to have him there with her, and trying to regain her composure. She was succeeding, that is until he leaned own and whispered in her ear "Good morning sweetheart, how was your night?", then he leaned back to look in her eyes, which were glazed and glazed and had turned a dark shade of their usual blue-grey.
That little whisper in that oh-so-sexy tone of voice demolished her recently regained composure and set her heart racing again. She knew what he was up to, and decided to treat him to a piece of his own game. So she gave him a seductive smile, and leant up to whisper in his ear, "It was lonely without you, how about yours?", and nipped his earlobe in the process, sending a shiver of expectation through his body.
Now, both equally quite aroused and definitely alert, headed towards the couch to snuggle, share the doughnuts and the coffee, and make up for the time they lost the previous night, because Booth had been partaking in a stakeout....
