A/N: Hi all..! Another short story that I hope will please! Enjoy!

Muraki stepped into the entryway and closed the door. He let out a great sigh. What a day. Emergency surgery, two staff meetings, patient rounds. It was nonstop the entire day.

The silver blond took off his shoes and shrugged out of his suit jacket, glad to shed the rumpled work attire.

"Asato? I'm home!" he called out. He wanted nothing more than to see his adorable lover and hug him tight. Hugging the brunet would be just the thing to melt his stress away.

Making his way toward the living room, he called out again, frowning a bit at the lack of response.

"Asato?"

"In the dining room, Kazutaka!"

Smiling, Muraki hurried his steps and immediately was struck by a delicious aroma wafting from the kitchen. Rounding the corner he stopped in his tracks. There was his lover looking absolutely lumminous in a crisp dark red dress shirt and black slacks, violet eyes shining.

"Happy Thanksgiving!"

The silver blond stared at a table heavily laden with an abundance of delicious looking food.

"What is all this?" he asked, silver eyes darting this way and that, taking it all in.

Tsuzuki approached his lover, arms out. Muraki immediately turned his attention to the violet-eyed beauty drawing him into an enormous hug and savored the slender body against his.

"I missed you, beloved," he whispered, kissing the younger man's warm cheek.

Tsuzuki smiled, pleased. "I missed you too, Kazutaka."

"But what is all this? Have you been slaving in the kitchen all day? What's the occasion?"

"It's a traditional Thanksgiving dinner just like they have in America!" Tsuzuki tugged Muraki toward the table. "See? Roast turkey with chestnut dressing, mashed red potatoes, asparagus in a lemon cream sauce, Parker rolls, cranberry and orange relish, and last but not least, pumpkin pie with maple whipped cream!" With a flourish, Tsuzuki waved his hand over the spread.

Muraki could only gape at the wonder of it. The crystal goblets were sparkling, candles were cheerfully lit, silverware gleaming.

"Beloved...I don't know..what to say. I'm absolutely floored," Muraki managed, turning to gaze at his beaming lover.

"Do you like it?"

"Like it?!" Muraki caught Tsuzuki into his arms. "Like it?" he repeated. "I love it. I love you. This is incredible! What made you do such a wonderful thing?"

Tsuzuki grinned, looking up at his lover with shining violets. "Well, I know how hard you've been working these past weeks. And it got me to thinking how much I appreciate you being in my life. And a country that is celebrating gratitude right now is America. Thanksgiving day. So I decided we should celebrate it here."

Muraki hugged his lover even tighter and kissed the brunet's temple, his heart full, tears gathering.

"I too, am immensely grateful that you are in my life, beloved. You have no idea how grateful. You are full of surprises. And today you surprise me with this scrumptious meal."

Tsuzuki eyes twinkled. "Shall we eat, Kazutaka?"

"Absolutely."

The two men sat down and raised their wine glasses.

"Happy Thanksgiving!"
