Cinderpelt licked her paws eagerly, smoothing down the fur with her slick tongue. As she fed Bluestar another Poppy Seed, the awkward silence was disturbed by footsteps. The young medicine cat poked her head suspiciously outside. " Hello?" She yowled, but not too loud, fearing that she might wake Bluestar.
Her eyes sparkled and widened as she saw the visitor was none other than her former mentor, Fireheart, now the clan deputy. She blushed underneath her fur and stammered. " Why hello Fireheart." She tried to show no signs of affection. " What brings you to my den this time?" She leaned over and gave his ears a quick lick tenderly, before sitting back down in her den. With her nose she beckoned the older cat inside. " I wanted to see how Bluestar was doing." he admitted, returning her ear lick happily. Cinderpelt blushed again. Distracted by the orange cat's beauty, she was speechless for a moment. " Cinderpelt? Is she alright? Or, are you alright? You seemed to be spacing out there." Cinderpelt laughed nervously. She detected a sense of humor in that last sentence. " Oh yes, I'm fine, just fine." She replied, kneading the ground with her paws. " As for Bluestar, she just needs some rest for now. I'm sure she'll be just fine." Cinderpelt nodded at Fireheart. He nodded back at her, and pressed his muzzle up against hers. " Thank you Cinderpelt," he purred, almost seductively. Cinderpelt smirked and ran her tongue along his fur hungrily, feeling almost ashamed at what she was doing. This was bad though, and she liked it. She wanted more.
Although she knew the risks were high, she couldn't help finally letting out the feelings she had been holding in all along for the clan deputy. She knew that Sandstorm clearly liked him- and Bluestar was right there. But who cares. It was her day- to be a bad kitty. And that was just what she was going to do.
" I know this is wrong," she murmured, extending her long pink tongue at him, " but I need more," Pretty much every cat- faithful or not to the warrior code- knew that medicine cats weren't supposed to have mates. But, what could she do? There had been worse things done. Fireheart purred, and his tongue intertwined with hers roughly, almost reading her mind. The female medicine cat rolled on top of him playfully, and cupped his face with her paws.
It wasn't until Cinderpelt heard the large groan that she decided to roll of of Fireheart and innocently sat by Bluestar, acting as she did nothing wrong in the first place. " Ahem. Thank you Cinderpelt." The old gray leader placed a shaky paw in front of herself. Cinderpelt dipped her head in respect to the older leader, although her eyes remained in place at her- she was obviously waiting for her to leave. " Fireheart, I'd like you to arrange a hunting patrol." were her last words before departing Cinderpelt's den. " As for you Cinderpelt..." Bluestar's cerulean eyes sparkled. " Please do check on the nursery...umm..." Cinderpelt narrowed her eyes and waited for her elder to finish. " INCASE anything has gone wrong." And with those words, she was gone. Cinderpelt's heart dropped as she saw Fireheart pad away. " Wait-" she stammered. " Meet me tonight in my den." Fireheart nodded, and away he went into the woods. Cinderpelt was reluctant to check on the nursery- it wasn't what she wanted to do now. As she bounded away turned the nursery, all she could think about was Fireheart.
