Sly sat at his desk looking into Carmelita's office. How am I going to repay her for what she did for me and the gang? He thought. I did promise her something for helping us stop Chad. I also want to cheer her up since we haven't gotten any leads on where he might have gone after his escape. I've got to do something special for her. Sly got up and walked out of the police station. He went to the safe house and started preparing. He straightened up his make shift house, making sure that everything was in order. After everything was set up, he went back to the police station. When he got there, Carmelita was nowhere to be found.

"Hey, Winthrop, did Carmelita go out on her patrol?"

"Yeah, she left not too long ago. You can probably catch up to her."

"Thanks." Sly said as he was leaving. He walked down Carmelita's normal route, hoping to bump into her. After a little while a searching, he found her.

"Hey Carm!" he called, running to catch up with her.

"Hey Sly, I was wondering where you ran off to."

"I can explain that a little bit later. After your shift there is something that I want to show you."

"Alright, meet me at the police station in an hour?"

"I'll be there." He went back to the safe house to ensure that everything was perfect. When the hour was almost up he went to the police station to meet Carmelita. She was walking out of the police station, when he was coming up the street. She smiled when she saw him.

"Are you ready to go?" he asked.

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see when we get there." He led her through the streets of Paris. They stopped in front of an average looking building. Carmelita looked at the building, and then looked at Sly. "Do you remember when you said that you had never found our safe house?"

"Is this it?" She asked excitedly. Sly nodded. "I must pass this place all of the time." She marveled.

"The best place to hide is in plain sight. Do you want to see the inside?"

"Is there someone living here now?"

Sly started at the ground for a moment. "Well, I am."

"You've been living here all of this time?"
"Yeah, the gang and I all used to live here. When we came back, I had the place all to myself. Come on, I'll show you around." They went up the stairs and into the door. He showed her the pictures from the old heists.

"You really stole all of these things?" She asked with a mix of awe and reprimanding.

"Yeah, I can hardly believe that we stole some of those things."

"Do you miss it?"

Sly thought about her question for a moment. "Yes," he finally started, "sometimes I do miss the adventures. But, now I have the greatest treasure of all."

She gave him a look. "Oh, come on."

He laughed. "You can't blame a guy for trying."
