You take a calming breath.
You place your hands on the tabletop and closes your eyes.
All of the blood in your body seems to rush up to your ears making them pound with every single beat of your heart.
You're faintly aware of the movement of the person across from you at the table.
"Santana. i...its...your turn."
She stops speaking after that, its rare for Rachel Berry to be speechless. But then again. What would she say in this situation, she cant say it'll be okay, because it wont.
You are both aware of this.
You look up and meet her eyes. you see the sadness, regret, fear and mostly the desperation shining in the brown orbs looking back at you.
You break eye contact and look down at the table at the item she just slid over to you.
Its a grey black revolver.
The last moments you spent with your friends and family dance around in your mind.
All of the laughs, smiles, and memories you shared with those closest to you.
Are you really happy with the way last words you spoke to all of those close to you?
You know that you may never speak to them again and you feel your heart break a little bit more.
This could really be the end.
You take another breath to calm your nerves, all it did was come out ragged and broken.
Slowly, your left hand reaches out to the gun and lands on the cold metal.
Its freezing and it sends shock waves throughout your body, making goosebumps pop up all over.
You pick it up and hold it over your lap.
The thought of this thing being the last image of this life makes your fear heighten and you have to stop yourself from shivering.
Another ragged breath.
You partially register the feeling of sweat breaking out on your forehead.
You realize your hands are shaking so you lay them down on the table, your left resting on top of the gun.
Its time.
You lift the gun up with your left hand and with your right you spin the cylinder.
The chamber falls into place with a deafening click.
You pull the hammer and raise the barrel to your head, resting the muzzle on your head right above your ear, the light touch of the metal to your ear makes you stop yourself from shivering again.
You say a prayer in your head and think of all the memories with your glee club friends and the girl across from you.
You look at her again and her eyes meet yours for a brief second, you recognize the love.
You mouth 'i love you' before slamming your eyes shut.
You sigh.
And pull the trigger.
