The Black Haired Cherry Blossom

By yachiru

Short Desripction: What happens when the pink cherry blossom turns black?

Sakura looked in the mirror at her newly dyed black hair as her bright green eyes widened. She ran her fingers through the soft hair and sighed. "Oh man..." She began to wish she had never dyed her shoulder length pink locks into this, foreign color.

Kakashi was going to kill her.

She pouted at herself in the mirrow and tugged at her hair. She then wondered if the cosmetic store down the street had her exact shade of pink and if her slender legs could carry her there before she fainted from the fumes that now circulated around her bathroom.

Without thinking about a second more, she threw her shirt, buttoned her skirt and tugged on her shoes. She looked around her tiny apartment for anything she could put over her head, but the only thing that would come close was her hetaiate. She grabbed and tied it around her head to keep the different colored hair out of her face as she went to her door and opened it.

She came face to face with a fist about to knock. The fist lead to an arm which let to a muscular shoulder and a neck and a very suprised man with a mask wrapped around his face, but not letting him hide the shock that stayed on his face.

She had been caught. "What...WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?" He asked her exasperatedly.

She blushed and looked down at his feet. He realized his arm was still about to knock and tranferred his fingers into her hair to feel it. She looked up sheepishly and saw his dropped jaw outline through his mask and started giggling madly.

"Sa...ku...ra..." He said slowly as she was laughing hysterically.

She pulled him inside and put a finger over her lips as her other hand yanked the thin fabric away from his face and grabbed his face.

"If you laugh at me, I'll kill you," She whispered and began kissing his jaw and moved to his soft lips.

"I don't think I can help it," he breathed in between kisses.

She pushed him down on her couch and sat on top of him, still kissing his sweet lips.

After about 15 minutes of this, she pulled away and pouted at him.

"Kakashi, what am I going to do?"

"Sakura, why did you even do this?" He questioned, giggling at her softly.

She grabbed his face and planted a kiss on it to make him stop laughing. She pulled away again and leaned her forehead against his.

"I...I thought it would be easier for our relationship," she trailed off and he looked at her, confused.

"You've been having a really hard time lately, because...I'm so young...And your former student. I thought this would take some attention away."

"Sakura," he started slowly. "I don't care if people give me a hard time. I love you and I couldn't care less what people saiy if I can spend time with you. And...dying you hair doesn't solve any problems. You don't even look like yourself!" He laughed. "You look like an evil twin sister!"

A huge grin spread across her face and she started giggling furiously. He started to get up and she fell off of him and onto the couch. He stood up and stretched, pulling his mask back up and turning around, he extended a hand to her. She took it and he pulled her up.

"C'mon, let's go try and find pink hair dye. If we can't we'll make a wig out of Sakura's and you can wear that around until your hair grows out."

She laughed and wrapped her arms around him as he closed the door behind them.
