Chapter 1. Revenge.
Disclaimer: Highschool DxD doesn't belong to me. OoC. This story is yaoi if you don't like, get out here, if you want to read for morbid ... I cannot do anything. This is a translation, and I think is a little, so forgive me if you read something wrong.
He had declared it, he wouldn't stop until Issei Hyoudo fought in the same way he wanted. He had warned him, He wanted to make him porridge. He had postponed it and he wanted to feel... something.
He looked carefully at the building in front of him, it was twelve o'clock, so if he decided to do something against his rival's family it was possible that some humans would notice and have to take care of them, although he didn't doubt that several people in the neighborhood already saw him as crazy after standing in front of the immobile mansion, in fact, he just needed to be seen laughing for no apparent reason so that they would call the psychiatric staff in order to remove him from his quiet neighborhood.
The door of the house opened and he was tempted for a moment to turn around and continue with his Machiavellian plans for another day, lapse that was cut in the exact second in which a woman dressed in a beige blouse and a black tracksuit, with her hair tied in a simple ponytail came out.
"Do you need something?"
No, He didn't need anything now, maybe just rethink how to put end to those two beings that make a little mad to the Red and he really wanted just ignore it but for some reason he couldn't.
"Just for curiosity, Is Issei Hyoudou living here?" His tone was neutral, obviously the question was to confuse, and the woman came to think that He was another of the boy of the town who came to complain about the libidinous attitude of her son threatening to file a lawsuit for harassment, so she did nothing but sigh and nod in preparation for the claim.
"You know him."
"Of course! The last time we met in a meeting at his institute."
The woman was astonished, not a claim or a crazy rant, just the boy's impassive face. She let out a kind smile.
"Do you want to eat with us? It's possible that he comes to sorrow that we've finished to eat, or he is late to come here, he is in a Club activities or something."
It could be his chance to attack that family, finally convert the clumsy demon reincarnated into an avenger, a rival at the same level, He nodded with a gallant and confident smile. He followed the woman to the kitchen where the boy's father was.
"Dear." She announced to the man who was now putting the cutlery on the table. "A friend of Ise has come."
"Seriously?"
"Rather, we are like ... acquaintances. My father is in charge of the club he belongs to."
The couple looked at him surprised.
"He's a teacher at Kuoh Academy?"
"Yes."
"Go ahead, sit down." both men sat, apparently the table inside the kitchen was smaller than the one in the dining room. He didn't doubt that those women who followed to the Red and who had become another of the weak points lived there, otherwise why such a large table.
He didn't understand humans but He certainly had found a pattern in all of them, the bigger and more valuable their possessions the lonelier they felt, maybe he was the same only that his demonic part took control of his unconscious, that the more I had the more I wanted and actually made him get rid of everything because he didn't have anyone. He looked around all beautifully decorated, surely by the servants of the Gremory family, but it seemed boring, with several pictures of the family on the walls. Did all humans do that? A deep dish was placed in front of him and an smeli that stirred his insides accompanied them, his entire body tensed, something that was reflected in his hands.
"Something happens?"
"I don't know how to use chopsticks." He lied, the woman smiled and before sitting down to eat she went to the boy and placed them in her hand in a delicate way, and he took them to the dish to teach him.
"Don't take them too soft or they will slip, and not too hard or you won't be able to eat."
He was afraid to try that soup? noodles? Were those the same, or not?, however he knew that by mere education he should not refuse food. He took the contents of the plate with fear that it would slip between the chopsticks. He felt silly, look that being nervous in front of those humans, he went to the plate so that nothing leaked on his clothes.
"I'm sorry honey, I didn't find anything else." He look up slightly avoiding as much as possible to move any other muscle.
An Italian woman with brown hair and enigmatic olive-colored eyes approached him, her outfit consisted of a simple dress with three-quarter sleeves in rags and sandals that were hardly kept together just by luck, in her hands she brought a bowl with a little food that smoked slightly. The food —if I could call it that— was only boiled pasta, with nothing else, yet he longed for it with all his being, it was the only thing he could eat! His father and grandfather refused to give him anything, so his mother managed to sneak into the kitchen and take that.
The woman —his mother— knelt in front of him, placed the bowl on the floor and brought the child to his lap to feed him, immediately the child began to drop small tears silently, she took the bowl and gave him small sips and from time to time she left small kisses on his head.
"Tu dormi, Ninno mio, ma intanto il core, non dorme, no, ma veglia a tutte l'ore. Deh, mio bello e puro Agnello"
She sang to him after he finished eating, it was dangerous that his mother was still there and even more after there were traces of food because she was forbidden to see the child and also feed him and he knew it, however, the only thing he could do at the moment was to cry, to cry while his mother consoled him.
"Thanks" He spoke with a thin voice after finishing his meal. "I guess for now I'll retire and then I'll look for..."
"I'm home."
The gentle mother of her rival go to receive her son, who came with a big smile until he saw the silver-haired boy at the table eating with his father. He tried to recompose the joyful gesture he had previously.
"Vali" He say with surprise, did not know if it was genuine or was mixed with anger.
"Hey Hyoudo" He answered without wanting even with his eyes on the plate.
Although the Red Emperor had seen him barely three short times in his life he knew that something was wrong, he needed all his arrogance and... everything that had made hate him and hate himself for not being stronger.
"Yes. Eh. Let's chat to my room" the parents of a boy nodded and Vali followed him as an automaton.
"What the fuck were you trying to do?!"
Immediately upon reaching the room he took it from the lapels of his jacket at the same time he shouted all this. Vali remained still and without making any sound. He looked at him, but he didn't know what he was really seeing.
"Is that really Hyoudo?" The boy didn't understand what he was referring to, He looked at him curious and pushed all the anger inside him in order to understand the half-demon.
"That's real?" He asked curiously. At last he could really see his blue eyes in which at a great speed the tears came together to overflow.
"This..." He pointed all over the place with his arms outstretched at the same time he was shedding tears. "Is it real that a family can be like that? How do you feel and not just hate?" He wanted to laugh, he wanted to throw sarcastic comments or... something so as not to look like that in front of the stupid and weak pervert in front of him, but failed miserably and couldn't do anything but fall to the ground on his knees while his hands tried to clean and stop his tears.
Issei was in shock, Was that the Vali he knew? The same arrogant fool who had threatened to murder his parents all for the reason of fighting him because he just wanted to prove himself stronger. He looked at the boy on the floor and knelt in front of him. With fear he removed his hands from his face and wiped the tears from the boy's face.
"I don't know" He answered with sincerity. "I mean my parents were always like this, it's... something normal, maybe they are a clumsy pair of humans trying to overprotect their perverted son, because of it. "
The half demon looked at his rival, guilt? Because those humans would feel guilt. Issei managed to notice all the confusion on Vali's face so he sat on the floor in the shape of an Indian.
"When I was little, my mom and my dad, didn't spend much time with me, They worked all the day because they couldn't afford many things because I was there. They are relatively young to have a child of my age, doing accounts mom had me at about nineteen, I want to believe, I really want to do it, that I wasn't a mistake in their life."
Vali's eyes focused on the boy who, as he spoke, shrank more and more in his place, apparently following the logic of the boy it was his turn to... make him feel good, so he placed one of his hands on his head and stroked it like the cat that sometimes went with Kuroka. Issei looked up to feel that wanted to claim that it wasn't a pet or something to do that, but abstained to see the small smile on the face of the boy.
"I see" he suddenly talk, with the same tone of voice with which he had spoken the previous times that he had met him. "I think it's time for me to leave. We will see us again" He got up and left the room with relaxed and confident steps. Issei also got up and followed him. "What's going on?" he asked when Issei was at his side.
"Well, I think it's for education to go to the door, I think " as Vali didn't understand humans very much he simply nodded. Once outside the house, Issei remembered a detail he had overlooked. "What were you doing in my house?" he asked in a serious tone.
Vali looked at him with half-closed eyes, it's not that he has forgotten about that moment of weakness, simply: what would he say? He thought about it for a while and he weighed his words well.
"I planned to kill your parents, but they reminded me of someone. They will live." He turned around and left without looking back and Issei looked at him until he disappeared when he came around the end of the block.
Author's notes: Since one year ago somebody asked me to translate this story, I was postponing it but now he is finally here.
I have always thought that Vali's mother is from a Nordic country, but this time I decided to make it Italian, that's where the lullaby sings, I think it's called "stars in the sky" or something like that, I lost the link.
Queso say bye. Peace
