"Why can't you ever just listen and understand!"

"I don't understand what you want from me?"

Dean let out a shout of rage, he was never going to get through to this Angel, that was one thing he knew for sure "Of course you don't, why would you? It's not like I've been trying to get through to you for what? three years?"

"You have no reason to be upset with me Dean, if anything I should be upset with you, after all I've done.."

"Oh save the sob story, please not this again!"

"Yes this again! Need I remind you of all I have given up for you, all I still give up and do for you, you have no idea the pain it causes me! And it's been four years actually," Castiel shouted casting away Dean's protest of personal space and getting himself as close to his friend as he could, to make sure his point was registered; if only the size difference wasn't so noticeable.

"Yes I know, but what you do- four years really? It's been that long?"

"It has indeed," Castiel replied slightly perturbed by Dean's sudden change in tempo and tone "To the day in fact," He added

Dean stared at Cas for a few moments, a small smile forming from the memories of the last four years, well most of the memories "Well," he said going over to the table in the motel and picking up two beers "This calls for a celebration then doesn't it?" he explained opening the beverages and handing one to the Angel.

"But I thought you didn't like it when I consumed alcohol?"

"Maybe just this once I'll allow it," Dean replied with a smirk, raising his bottle "to us,"

Castiel didn't move "I'm unsure of what I'm supposed to do here,"

The man suppressed another rising pang of rage and instead chose to calmly press his bottle against the Angel's "cheers,"

Cas smiled at the gesture and new found human custom "cheers," he repeated.
