Hey, this is just a one shot on LilyXJames :) enjoy :) Happy April Fool's

Lily walked down to the Great Hall. People around her were laughing, pointing, and some doing nothing at all. Today was April Fool's, and a lot of fools there were! Lily sat by here friends, Alice and Marlene, and started to eat breakfast. Just as she took the first bite of her eggs, she saw the annoying, messy, black hair that could only belong to one person:

James Potter

Cursing him in her mind as he stepped closer and closer, she quickly thought of how to turn him down.

When he reached her seat his hand immediately flew to his already messy hair. He looked at his feet, then straight into Lily's eyes, cursing himself as he forgot what he was going to say. When he finally remembered he noticed the whole Hall was staring at them.

"Hey, um, Lily?" He asked tentatively, knowing her temper could flare any moment.

"Yes, Potter." She answered, surprisingly sweet...maybe a little to sweet, but James didn't notice.

"Lily, would you accompany me to Hogsmeade next week?" bracing himself for a slap, hex, to be yelled at, anything, he was surprised to be met by silence. He opened his eyes, and saw Lily sitting there, looking beautiful, and...happy? He was trying to figure out why on Earth Lily would be happy about this, because usually she just yelled and hexed him.

"Yes"

James stumbled over his feet. Lily Evans, his Lily Evans! Said YES! YES! Now he could freely kiss her, hug her, anything! No hexes shot, shouting matches, and no physical violence. He could bring her on the Quiditch pitch, she would cheer him on at games. They could take midnight strolls on the grounds (not in the full moons of course). She could learn all his secrets, she could learn his. He would have to write to his parents, who had constantly heard him talk all about Lily. Heck, she could even come and visit, she could meet their house elf, Reni, and then they could get married. Then move to Godrics Hollow...settle down, have kids.

As fantasies of their future played in his mind, the Great Hall was gossiping about them. Of course, they had heard the whole thing. Any student who hadn't was immediately filled in with the facts, and some of the opinions too! Why, even the teachers were talking about it. Their favorite student, Lily Evans, falling for that no-good trouble maker, James Potter. Sure, he was a whiz a Transfiguration and Quiditch, but was there anything else? No. He simply wasn't good enough for her, they decided, and hoped that maybe she would rub off on him! And not the other way around!

Sirius Black, James best friend, and practically brother, clapped Evans on the back.

"When did you finally realize you and James were meant to be, eh?" The hall was silent, awaiting Lily's answer. A smilie came to her lips even wider than normal as she shouted:

"APRIL FOOL'S! I can't believe you fell for it!" and burst into hysterical laughter.

Ok, we might continue it, maybe one or two more chapters...or do a whole holiday series thing, review to tell us if we should :)

Happy April Fool's!
