Mujihi na Otoko: Expressionism
Kuon often thought that Nanao-san was not given credit where credit was due.
Seductively luring in any man who foolishly made eye contact with him and 'slaying' him... Kuon could not imagine what it would have been like having such a rumour spread about himself. Terrible, he imagined.
He saw clearly the looks on every man's face when Nanao-san interacted with them. Flirtatious expressions dancing beneath those enticing strands of dark hair, curious curves tilting that cheery red mouth... That was clearly what they saw.
And in all honestly Kuon could not blame them.
"I detest people like you..."
He had once seen the very same fleeting expressions pass across that pale face. He had once felt that very same feeling of loathing and looked down upon the elder man for his apparently promiscuous ways, feeling the very same never sated lust that hid itself just behind the frowning disdain.
"Because I've always wanted to..."
But Kuon thought that Nanao-san had many different expressions, and only a select few accurately portrayed the wanton behaviour he was unjustly famous for. He was fragile, delicate... and yes, he supposed in the end Nanao-san was just a little bit dangerous.
But what it really came down to was that he was just as capable of expressionism as the next grossly misunderstood human being.
Hurt and anger, jealousy and nervousness... This emotions wreaked havoc inside him as they rightly should. And in the end, those luring dark eyes and that faintly teasing rise of his brow could show devastation rather clearly.
Well, Kuon supposed so. He wasn't too sure. Deep thinking wasn't really his thing and as long as those long slender fingers were only entwined with his own... he guessed it didn't really matter what kind of expressions Nanao-san showed.
As long as he only showed them to him.
