You don't need to change the past
Its Yuri okay, don't like, why the hell are you here? If you like it, then read it, and be ready for upcoming chapters. Yeah…do it….
Disclaimer: if I owned naruto then you wouldn't be on fan fiction for this, you would be watching TV for this.
So December came, and nobody noticed it. Nobody cared. Everybody was set, everybody was how they had wanted to be. Or how they thought they wanted to be. Naruto and Hinata were the first to marry, obviously. Everyone who wasn't married or dating, was too busy being an incredible ninja off in some distant land, or in their high posts as anbu, or jounin. Sakura had finally won over sasuke, and surprisingly, Ino didn't care. Ino lived alone, but she was fine, because sakura was happy…or at least she thought so.
Sakura and sasuke, a happy couple, maybe. Sasuke married the only one who cared about him like that, but sakura didn't. She married someone who didn't seem to care about her. There were others…naruto for one, but he was minor. There were others more important. Regardless sakura had won over…no… won sasuke.
So December came, and nobody noticed. Christmas eve passed by unnoticed, Christmas day passed by unnoticed, and then the day after. Sakura couldn't help but wish she hadn't missed it. It takes a lot to catch it though. Most of all, someone to catch it with you. How do you catch something like a day of togetherness, without someone who wants to catch it. Or someone, to enjoy it with, someone to enjoy with it.
As they lay in bed, sakura wondered why, or how, and several other things. Her eyes staring, stagnant pools, boring into the ceiling. Sasuke next to her, his eyes, closed and unwelcome, stuck in the pillow, breathing softly. Ten 'o clock at night, and sakura couldn't sleep. So she shook the sleeping sasuke, and softly awoke, confused and sleepy.
"what?"
That was all he said…what…a normal question. Seemingly normal at least. She was just normal now, so a normal question seemed right.
"sasuke…I have an idea"
"what?"
More of a curious question now.
"Maybe…we should visit our old friends."
"what?"
"maybe like when we were young…we can spend the night?"
"uh…yeah…why not…"
"well call, and see if they're awake… maybe we each pick a friend?"
"what?...oh, yeah, why not?"
"yeah…okay. Who would you call"
"what? Oh um, naruto or someone"
Sakura was silent. She stood, and headed for the phone, not the bedroom one, the one in the kitchen. Somewhere she could be alone. But why? Why did she want to be alone?...why not? She left it at this, and picked up the phone, instinctively dialing the number. She would stay with someone…enjoyable…Ino. Why not?
