There she hangs, her luminous face peeking at him through branches. She's always just that little bit out of reach, teasing him with her smile. He waits all month for her. As she grows bigger, his excitement mounts. A fingernail. An orange segment. And finally, her full visage, that gentle expression, full of charm.

She makes him feel small but at the same time, immense. She makes him feel weak but at the same time, strong. She seems close, but infinitely far away. He's mesmerised.

Sometimes she hides. And then suddenly she's there, jumping out from behind clouds as if to make sure he's still watching. He loves her in that moment. She's a happy child playing peek-a-boo.

He is friends with technology. He understands it. His life, and those of his brothers, revolves around it. He is not as savvy as Brains- no one is. But technology surrounds him, every waking minute of the day. Take M.A.X. for example. The ant shaped robot is a member of the family. The 'birds are members of the family, as are the pods. He is surrounded by family.

But she is a veiled maiden, laughing at him, coming and going as she pleases. And he loves her all the more for it.
