Joey didn't want to but he couldn't get out of it. the teacher had pared up Joey and Kiba for a group project.
joey couldn't believe that the teacher would do that. he knew how much Joey and Kiba hated each other. He's even broken up a few of the fights himself.
Throughout the rest of the day, Joey and Kiba both glared at each other. When the teacher gave everyone time to get together to discus, Joey sat adjacent to Kiba but refused to look at him.
"You better not mess this up for me, Wheeler. I'd hate to get a bad grade because of you." he warned Joey.
Joey grunted, "I was about to say the same thing." He told Kiba.
In the end they decided to do separate projects on similar things.
the bell rang and Joey got up quickly to leave.
"Wheeler," Kiba called catching up with Joey. "I want you to come over and do your research at my house." he told him.
Joey looked at him with a questioning face, "Why would you think that I would go to your place?" he asked.
Kiba smirked, "I'm guessing that you don't have a computer at your house. I don't want a project that is my grade to be second rate. I have an old computer that you can use but I refuse to take it out of the house so you'll just have to come over." Kiba explained.
Joey was still confused on why Kiba would really invite him over but didn't refuse. He didn't have a computer. His plan was to write it out, then come to school early to type it. He also prepared to skip class to hang out in the library like he always did.

Kiba picked him up after an hour at his house.
Serenity was concerned about him going to kiba's house but she didn't stop him.
Joey arrived at Kiba's house and had been shown to the living room where books were layed out and a laptop was sitting open on the coffee table.
Kiba was sitting at his desk already working with a book open next to the computer.
Kiba looked up when Joey came through the door. He smirked, "Don't just stand there and stare. That laptop is yours of the project. go ahead, sit down and get started." Kiba told him in a cocky voice before going back to work.
Joey glared at the top of Kiba's head before sitting down and getting to work.
"Good boy." Kiba muttered loud enough so Joey could hear him.
Joey just glared at the computer screen.
