'Ritsuka is coming over today.' I thought recalling what Soubi had said yesterday. I spotted Soubi putting on a coat and raised an eyebrow.

"Going to get Ritsuka?" I asked. He turned to me and simply smiled and nodded before grabbing his cigarettes. "Did you even think of asking us if we wanted to go?"I asked him, annoyed.

"You'd rather go get Ritsuka then spend the few minutes alone with Natsuo, that you'll get this week?" He replied smugly. That was true. We were almost never alone anymore. Kio was always watching us. The thought of being alone with Natsuo brightened my thoughts as I fought a smile.

"Never mind." I said waving my hand in his direction. I walked to the bed where Natsuo was resting peacefully. The front door opened and closed, announcing Soubi's departure. I sat on the bed near my other half, and watched as he slept.

'He is so beautiful.' I thought. My eyes flowed over his body, taking in all the familiar features. I took in every curve and dip of his body, his shirt, exposing some of his chest. His mouth was slightly open as he breathed.

It was then that I came to his eyes. His soft eyelashes twitched slightly. I turned my attention to the patch that covered his right eye. I despised this patch yet loved it. It was a constant reminder of how I had damaged him. I was the one who had marred his perfect body. I know it didn't hurt him, but it hurt me to be the one who did it. On the bright side, he considers it a bond between us, and has never held it against me.

I smiled slightly as my eyes traveled up to his neko ears. Beautiful, maroon fur covered them and I smiled when I saw them twitch then flatten against his head showing he was now awake. He knew I was watching him. I brought my hand up to his cheek, brushing the tips of my fingers against the edge of the patch.

I must have watched him for quite some time, because a few seconds after he had opened his eyes to look at me, the door had opened and in walked Soubi with Ritsuka beside his hip. We never broke gazes. People might have said I had wasted a perfect opportunity, but I couldn't think of anything better than to stare at a sleeping beauty in silence.
