A Home in My Heart
Summary: Coming to a realization of he won't be able to find Moses if he doesn't want to be found, Ramses decides to write down a letter of his own. Hoping one day when Moses comes back he would read it. A simple message he will always have a home in Ramses's heart.
Returning to the palace after another tireless and endless day of searching for Moses hoping against hope of finding him even just briefly to touch his cheek. To admit to him his feelings are happily return! Ramses sighs dropping off on his bed gazing at the ceiling feeling bits of tears forming at the corner of his eyes. 'Where are you Moses? Can I see you once more? You don't have to come back until ready.' he thought heaving a heavy sigh.
He gets off his bed heading to his desk to just write another letter he writes to Moses but never been read.
My Dearest Moses,
I miss you every day. How are your travels? Have you taken care of yourself and eaten? I can imagine you give that dimple smile when I start asking these simple questions. How funny I sound like Father when Mother goes and comes back from her trips.
I...oh Ra…I just want to say I love you dearly as long as the Nile goes. An endless water of emotions which you own my very heart. I understand your need to leave even it hurts to think you weren't happy here. I also want you to know that you have a home in my heart, Moses. Always and ever until the very stars within the sky glittering and guiding you on your journey.
With every love I have brotherly and more,
Ramses
Ramses reads it for a few moments. His heart beats sadly in his chest and a single tear rolls down. He gets up and goes back to his bed once more as suddenly every muscle and bone in his body aches. He drifts off to sleep not once noticing a silent figure standing on his balcony watching him for a few moments.
The brown eyes softens seeing his sleeping brother and crush. He pads into the room already inform his parents of he's now home after time away. He stops by the desk reading the letter and his heart nearly burst in his chest. Every step he takes is closer to Ramses. Once at the bed closest to Ramses he crawls in much like when he done as a child snuggling against Ramses's side. He sees the single tear track and leans up to kiss his cheek.
He murmurs softly, "I'm home Ramses and I love you."
