I nearly forgot that it was the lunar eclipse tonight, but when I saw the beautiful blood-red moon, I just knew I had to write a quick fic with Franziska and Edgeworth. So... ta-da! Here it is. Please enjoy!

Miles peered through his telescope at the blood-red moon in the sky. It was about midnight, and a colder wind shuffled the spring air.

"The moon is lovely tonight."

Franziska stepped out of the master bedroom and onto the balcony tightly wrapped in a silk robe.

Still looking through the telescope, he responded, "Well, yes, indeed. It's rare to see a lunar eclipse here in America."

She smirked and shook her head. "You've always had a thing for astronomy." Her head nodded in the general direction of the telescope. "Here, let me see."

He graciously stepped over and let Franziska have a glance at the totally red moon. "Breathtaking..."

"Oh, your robe is slipping." Carefully, he wrapped his arms around her and tied the robe back on. However, he didn't let go, and simply wrapped his arms around her tighter. "By the way, this is my robe, isn't it?"

She hummed a "yes" while still looking through the telescope. She couldn't seem to get her eyes or hands off of his telescope and the moon.

"You know, Franziska, you are more breathtaking than any other celestial body that could ever exist." He gently kissed her neck.

"Miles, do you want to go back to bed? I can feel lust radiating from your very skin." She looked over at him, annoyed, but raring to go also.

He smiled. "If you insist." He nearly swept Franziska off her feet as he rushed her back into the room, leaving the stars to be alone with the blood-red moon.

"Did you see how red that moon was? That red represents my love for you.

Oh please, Miles, you've already stolen my love; you don't need to try so hard anymore."
