Taylor had just transferred to Iwatobi Junior high-school from America. She was nervous at first, entering the school's main doors, but she got past it with ease. She had first period with two members of the swim team, Haruka Nanase, and Makoto Tachibana. Taylor noticed that during the first couple of weeks of class, Haruka would always be staring at her; he would always have a questioning look on his face. Taylor wondered why.
Over the next few months, Haruka kept doing the same thing, so she decided to do something about it, confront him about this. So, the next school morning, Taylor went up to Haruka's desk.
"Excuse me, Haruka Nanase?" Taylor said, glaring at him.
"Y-yes? Taylor Morse?" Haruka said with a blush on his face.
"Why are you all red? Are you feeling sick?" Taylor stated with concern, slight worry on her face.
"I'm fine, no need to worry" Haruka coughed and glanced away
"Oh, alright then. Also, how do you know my name? We've never meet before." Taylor said, glaring again.
"Well, we have class together. Have you ever heard of roll-call? Silly." Haruka giggled.
"Right, right." Taylor blushed, clearly embarrassed.
"So why is it you came over here?" Haruka said with a questioning look.
"I'm not sure, I'll excuse myself now." Taylor walked back to her seat in the classroom.
Taylor sat down in her seat, wondering what she had wanted to confront Haruka about again. She couldn't remember. "It's as if my mind has gone blank!" She thought to herself.
By the end of the class lesson, Taylor had spaced out, staring at the wall blankly when Haruka came over to nudge her.
"Spacing out?" Haruka laughed lightly.
"Oh, yeah. The lesson today didn't interest me." Taylor said, sighing.
"Yeah, wasn't too interesting today, I agree. Want to come join Makoto and I for lunch on the roof?" Haruka said with a slight blush rising on his cheeks.
"Sure, why not!" Taylor smiled.
