Arthur was addicted to Netflix, he absolutely loved the cooking shows and TLC was like his personal playground but lately he's been getting bored of them, every new cooking show was the same and he had enough recipes to last more than a few months.

So based on the trip him and his grumpy husband were going on, he decided to watch a documentary on the Brazilian dangers. . . it wasn't a very good choice. Arthur flinched for what seemed like the thousandth time since the start of the program, he scrunched up his face and frowned, holding on a bit tighter to his lover's hand.
"maybe Brazil isn't the best place for us Franny. . . I don't know, I mean it's beautiful, absolutely! but well, I'm a bit scared. What if a spider gets us? Or a snake! I don't like snakes Franny" he whined, flinching once again.

"we won't see any snakes, it's not like we are going to be fucking around with murky rivers" Francis grumbled, staring blankly at the computer, he was frankly a bit bored with all this and his petite husband's fear was getting quite annoying.

"I just. . . i don't want you to get hurt a-and the kids will be with us, you know how nutty Alfie can be! and Matthew isn't afraid of anything! what if something bad happens? Spiders, Franny Spiders!" Arthur squealed, hiding his face in his hands as the narrator explained how the anaconda could easily unhinge it's jaw and eat a man whole.

"We are not going to get hurt!I-" Francis sighed, rubbing the back of his neck, Arthur was truly worried and scared, he couldn't just brush it off this time and besides, he liked surprising Arthur from time to time. "I won't let the spiders hurt us" he mumbled, Arthur's head shot up
"You'll protect us?" he smiled "My brave Franny! Keeping the nasty bugs away!"

Arthur cuddled up close to Francis. basically climbing atop him, he held him in a loving embrace, forgetting all about the documentary
"Oh Francis. . . you're so good to me" he kissed his nose. "I love you sassafrance!"

Francis didn't respond, he usually didn't but Arthur didn't mind, he never did, it's how their family worked, how their relationship always worked. Knowing exactly what the other meant when he said nothing at all 'Je t'aime aussi'
