Quick tip about me: My first chapters are always short. It's more of a prologue to my stories so sorry.
Chapter One
I walked down a narrow stage. The microphone in one hand and my lips slightly pressed to it. My heart pounding so loud I swore that my heart was going to explode. I opened my mouth so sing but nothing came out. The thousands of fans I had, kept cheering as though it was part of the show. I looked into the audience. Strangers. A sea of strangers.
Suddenly the audience went quiet and they disappeared into darkness.
"Hey wait! Where are you going?" I yelled. There was no one. I was on a narrow stage…alone…in total blackness. What was happening?
I sat up in my bed gasping. Another dream? Damn. I had to stop these weird singing dreams. I didn't even like to sing. Mostly because I sound like a cat that just got hit by a car and was on steroids.
I looked at the clock. "Oh no! I am going to be late! Why didn't anyone wake me up?"
I rushed to get my uniform on and ran into the kitchen.
"You should have wakened yourself up. You're a big girl now" Byakuya said, sipping his tea and reading the newspaper.
"Nii-sama!" I growled, and looked at my watch again. "Shit!"
"Language" he said coldly not even looking up at me.
I ran all the way toward the school, not waiting up for Toshiro if he was late…again. To my surprise he was already at school.
"So I wait for you when you are late, but you don't wait for me? How rude can you be?" I sat next to him in homeroom.
"Oh shut up. Just be happy I came today"
That's right, I thought. This was his last day of school. You see, Toshiro Hitsugaya was a senior as to I was a junior. I hated being one year apart from him. But he never seemed bothered by it. I kept telling him that today was going to be the day I told him how I really felt about him!
"Yes sorry" I mumbled. "Toshiro I have-"
I couldn't speak anymore. Ochi-sama suddenly burst in with a book above her head.
"I don't feel like counting you hooligans today so let's just say everyone is here!"
"But Inoue, Ishida, and Kurosaki aren't here!" Hezekiah yelled.
"Oh well"
What kind of teacher was she? I bet all the students were asking that.
"Kuchiki come here" I hesitated but went to the front of the classroom and looked at Ochi-sama.
"Yes?"
She leaned in close and whispered. "You're brother called and told me to tell you that he would be picking you up early so you can attend a fancy dinner with some high rich dude. Someone I forgot his name"
Shit!
I nodded and sat back down.
"What happened?" he asked.
"N-Nothing!" I blushed slightly and pretended to read. He seemed to buy it and looked back at his own work.
"You're the worst liar in man kind" or maybe not.
"Just drop it"
He did. Thank god. How was I going to tell him how I felt now?
