What would happen if Draco and Harry became friends instead of enemies? The challenges these two will face through the Dark Lord's Plots. This is just sort of my random intro leading up to their fourth year. (Obviously: The book in which Voldemort returns [AWKWARD!]) The original story belongs to y personal favorite author of all time, J.K. Rowling and I thank her for allowing me to meddle with the HP storyline a tad. (MUHAHAHAHAHAHA)
Draco turned to Harry. "You'll soon find out some wizarding families are better than others, Potter. You don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort. I can help you there."
He held out his hand to shake Harry's. Harry looked at it for a moment then shook it, standing. "Sure. You seem pretty cool."
Snape had eventually learned to like Harry, ignoring his old rivalry.
Draco had never bothered to join the Quidditch team (His rivalry with Harry was the only reason he did so.)
Pansy Parkinson is going out with Draco, and Harry is still crushing on Ginny. (some things never change.)
Harry, Ron, and Hermione are still friends, Draco has just joined the gang.
Crabbe and Goyle ended up just talking to each other.
FIRST YEAR
Harry was sorted into Gryffindor, along with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Draco had still gone along to Slytherin. Draco spent the feast staring at his new friend wondering "why? Why had he gone into Gryffindor?!" Things progressed normally; Hermione aced every exam, Draco had Harry's back when Snape was picking on him in potions, and Ron learned to forget his general hatred of anybody with the name Malfoy. After the end of their History of magic exam, the four sat around a common room, planning to make a break for the Philosopher's Stone. They had one chance to catch Professor Quirrell. They couldn't mess it up. One shot. They were victorious, but only after Malfoy nearly killed himself drinking a poison in the riddle room. Griffindor won the cup, but Draco was still happry for his friends.
SECOND YEAR
The group still had to make polyjuice potion, but not to investigate Malfoy. Instead it was a certain teacher with an enormous ego. They found basically the same info. Malfoy chickened out and refused to go in the chamber, and you know the rest.
THIRD YEAR
Draco also passed out on the train, even though the dementer didn't touch him. During the lesson involving Buckbeak, he headed Hagrid's advice and backed off so the entire mess never even started. Unfortunately, there was a hassle with the Ministry so that he still had to hide :) Draco got a terrible flu, so he spent the main part of the book laid up with Ron wondering how the heck Harry and Hermione managed to do what they did. Sirius doesn't trust anyone with the last name Malfoy.
FOURTH YEAR
Draco has decided to blow off his parents in favor of his three best friends at the world cup. Now, they're all sitting in the Weasley's tent playing truth or dare.
well... there's the terribly dramatic set-up. This is the first story I've written without a handwritten plan first, so please tell me how my random spazitude is? Thanks loves! R+R pleases and cheeses? :-D :-D 3
