Summary: Blue has been captured, and who steps up to the challenge to rescue her? None other than Dora.
Rating: M. It may get gruesome or...naughty in later chapters.
A/N: Although it's my second published fanfic, it's actually the first one I started writing. I know that it includes a character or two from other shows, but I really didn't see this as a crossover...
Genre: Drama/Crime
Disclaimer: This is a fan-based story! Dora, Swiper, and Blue are owned by Viacom International and NickJr/Nickelodeon. Story based off of StranglyNormal's deviations (deviantART) involving this trio.
"You all know that we sent an agent in to do some undercover work in the Involuntary Liberation League." The head of the team said, a little nervous as he spoke," Well, we've gotten word today that she has been exposed and is now being held prisoner within their organization, guarded by their infamous #1." A gasp arose from the team members as they looked at each other for answers. Blue blended in perfectly. How could she have been captured? "We will be planning a rescue operation. Any who wishes to join the team, speak up now." There was a silence among the group. Infiltrating any I.L.L. facility was difficult enough, but this one is protected by the organization's fastest, sneakiest, deadliest member. Even for Blue, was it worth it?
A voice with a slight Hispanic accent cut across the silence: "I'll go."
Dora Marquez, a dark brown-haired, tan-skinned 26-year-old, was easily the best member of the team. She was the fastest with a blade, most accurate with a gun, excelled in hand-to-hand combat, and was very swift and agile, but most of all, she was courageous, and she knew how to play the enemy. "I'll go." She repeated. She turned to the group to see who else would accept the mission. None stepped forward. 'Do they not care about Blue?' Dora wondered, but she shrugged off the thought. Blue was one of Dora's best friends, and she was not about to let sweet Blue spend another moment in the hands of I.L.L.'s #1 agent.
The head grabbed Dora by the arm and took her aside. "Give me a list of teammates you want, and I'll be sure they tag along." He said in a hushed voice. Feeling that the meeting was over, the group was now slowly starting to disperse.
Dora looked at the group. Fear lingered in their eyes. She let out a sigh. "Sir…" Dora said distantly, "I don't want a team."
"What? That's foolish! You could be killed!" He said with urgency, but he still remained quiet enough so that the other members did not hear him.
"And so could the rest of whatever team I assemble." She argued. There was a brief pause before she continued talking, "We all know that #1 likes to pick off his enemies from a distance. Well, it's easier to get in close with only a single person, and if a team of one fails, only one team member dies."
He could not argue with her. He never could. He slowly nodded his head. "We already know the location where Blue is being held captive. You can leave tomorrow."
"It's only morning right now." Dora said, "Do you think you can have everything ready for me by this afternoon? I plan on starting this mission this evening."
He sighed once again and nodded his head. He gave up on trying to convince her. He walked towards the door that lead out of the room and began his work, assembling a team to gather information and supplies.
