Kurt couldn't take seeing Blaine like this: His puppy dog, tear filled eyes, his face puffy from crying, he just hated him feeling this way.
"Blaine.." Kurt tried to hold back his tears, but the thought of leaving his beloved boyfriend was too much for him. They looked up at each other, then looked around the train station. "I can't belive you're leaving," Blaine said, choking on his words. He looked up into Kurt's eyes, but immediatley looked away. If he took another look at Kurt, he would burst out into tears.
"Honey, I know that this... this is going to be difficult for both of us, but I promise I'll never forget about you! We can face time every night, and I promise to come down for holidays!"
"I just can't handle high-school without you.." Blaine, with tears begining to roll down his cheeks, took Kurt into his warm embrace.
"No don't cry please, you can do it. I know you can," Kurt's hand rubbed up and down Blaine's back, comforting him. "You've been strong all these years without me, but this time you have me, I just won't be right next to you.."
"I know that- I've tried to be couragous, but I've just been holding back tears way too long. I'm afraid that, if you leave me, you might- forget about me," Blaine held onto Kurt as tight as he could, crying into his shoulder. "Please... don't forget about me..."
Kurt and Blaine stood there, holding each other. They were both crying, but it felt good. They haven't cried together in quite a long time, and now that they are, it felt like a gigantic load was being lifted off their shoulders. Kurt was heading to college, Blaine was becoming a senior, and even though the distance between them was unbearable, nothing could stop them from loving each other.
"I promise," Kurt said, pulling back from their embrace. "Look at me, I promise that I will never stop loving you. I promise to call you every night, even when I'm sick. I promise to try to make it to your shows, performances, and every single holiday. I will never forget about you, Blaine."
Blaine never looked away from Kurt's watering eyes. They stood there, looking at each other with pure love. There was no hate, anger, drama, distress, just love. A small smile came across the corner of their mouths, and they started laughing.
"You're perfect," Blaine said, with his sweet, sentimental smile. His hands cupped the sides of Kurt's face, and looked him straight in the eyes. They both inched in closer to each other, until they could feel each other's breath on their lips. Finally, their lips pressed together. It felt as if it was their first kiss: full of fireworks, passion, and true love. Their lips moved in perfect harmony.
"I love you," Kurt said, after pulling away. "I love you too," Blaine responded, giving him another peck on the lips. Kurt heard the intercom call his departing time, and his eyes filled with tears once again. He looked up at Blaine, who was about to cry, and took him into his arms. There were no words, just a simple embrace. That simple embrace felt like the world to them.
Once they pulled away, Kurt grabbed his bags and boarded the train. He found a window to see Blaine through, and they were both in tears. The train started to move, and they both mouthed these simple words to each other: I love you.
