I felt like crap. So I wrote crack to cheer me up. And, surprisingly, it did. Takes place after "Untethered," and is based on Frank Goren's ever-brilliant line to Bobby, which was thus: "Just take Eames to a motel and get it out of your system." Most definitely one of the best lines, although it was in the middle of an explosive fight.
The fun thing about crack is that you don't have to worry about it a whole lot. You can totally get away with spewing random crap into their throats.
That being said, this is obviously not going to be in character. So don't bother going over it with a microscope.
In a hotel room at two in the morning:
Two empty coffee cups.
One case file, supposedly being examined.
Goren (Bobby). Eames (Alex). On the couch.
Clothes being removed and thrown aside. Fast.
Somewhere in the midst of it, Eames pushed against Goren's chest, trying to get him off.
Goren was not pleased with this.
"What?" he almost-pouted.
"Jesus, Bobby," Eames whispered. "Do you even know what hotel we're at?"
"Of course." Goren looked puzzled. "Blue Crescent."
"Don't be so goddamn literal. What I meant was, have you ever been here before?"
"Oh." Goren pauses. "No."
"So—wait a minute. Of all places for—" She stumbles momentarily, and Bobby can't help but grin. "This—to happen—why here?"
Goren shrugged. "He didn't give specifics."
"What?"
"Frank. He may be a junkie, but turns out he has good ideas. Who knew?"
Eames just gaped at him.
Goren blinked innocently. "What?"
That actually did cheer me up. :) You wanna cheer me up even more by reviewing? Cause I'd love you for that.
