Author's Note: This is in Wesley's third point of view. It's a reply to 15minuteficlets, the word was... you guess it... aggravation.
He watched her for the past three years. Not knowing what else to do. Signal has been crossed, while boundaries were still in place. He watched her with aggravation while she smiled at the boy. He had dreamed a thousand nights that she would smile at him like that.
He slowly noticed that she didn't smile as much at the boy as before. However strangely he didn't notice the smiles he had dreamed of were being given to him, which led her to aggravation.
He couldn't believe for a second after the signal of a chaste kiss that she was his. After all these years his feelings were being returned.....
The aggravation had left him for those few precious days. Those days he knew were the best in his entire life. The smiles.... All those sweet little smiles she gave him. He knew that if she could love him, then he was worthy to live in this world, something that he never believed.
However those days slipped by him. And he held onto her as much as he possibly could. And to the aggravation of others he held onto the shell. If he could hold onto any part of her, he would.
He lived his last moments in the arms of a lie. A beautiful lie that he allowed himself to believe, she, his reason for living, was alive, staring at him with a sad smile that he had watched for years. He was going where she would be waiting for him. And there wasn't anything to be aggravated about.
