Pairings- Sheldon/Amy
***Amy's pov***
"Sheldon?" I ask, only to get no response from him. I have no idea what's wrong with him or anything else, he just keeps staring into the distance. I shake his arm and he looks at me.
"What is it, Amy?" he asks. His wide blue eyes have lost their usual sparkle of happiness.
"What's wrong with you?" I ask.
Sheldon hesitates before saying, "It's nothing."
"Sheldon!"
"What?"
"You need to tell me what's wrong! If you can't trust me, your girlfriend of all people, then who can you trust?"
Sheldon closes his eyes for a second. "Will you promise not to tell anybody?"
"I don't know, Sheldon. It really depends on what it is." I say.
"Please?" Sheldon asks.
"Fine." I say, because I know that this is an argument that I definitely can't win.
"Thank you." he says, managing to smile slightly. "Leonard. It was him. For the past couple of weeks." Sheldon sighs, leaning back against the edge of the couch.
"Sheldon. What did Leonard do?" I ask, grabbing his wrists.
"He hit me." Sheldon says. "Several times. I thought he was my friend."
"Do you need a hug?" I ask. Sheldon nods and I wrap my arms around him. Sheldon leans his head on my shoulder. "I'm sorry."
"It was my fault anyway." he says, his voice breaking slightly.
"No, no. I'm sure it wasn't." I say. "It's alright."
"Don't leave me." he says.
"I won't. I don't have a reason to." I say. "I love you, Sheldon."
Sheldon pulls away to look at me. "Do you mean it?"
"Oh, Sheldon, how could I not?" I say.
"Amy. I love you." Sheldon says, a smile forming on his face.
I smile back and say, "I've been waiting so long for you to say that."
"I was just waiting for the right time." Sheldon says.
