She was surrounded by friends, surely one of them would... oh, if only she could just sink into the sand. Perhaps she could shrink into nothingness. She was well on her way, feeling smaller and smaller with each passing second that he tugged on her hair. Pigtails. Like a 5-year-old. Was that how he saw her? Just a cute little girl? Small enough to fit into his pocket - a perfect play-doll. Not a woman yet. Not that he cared.

He was acting like a child. But his thoughts were those of a man. He could feel Pantherlily's disapproval burning into his shoulder. Not that he cared. What was he supposed to do? She just looked so damned cute and when a boy likes a girl, he pulls her hair. It's hardwired. How else is she supposed to know he's interested? It was soft against the calluses of his fingers, slipping away from him. But he wouldn't let it get away. He had captured her and she was his. This would do for now. Flirting was fun. But soon, she would be the one pulling his hair.
