Morning came too soon. Dumbledore organised a feast to be held in Harry and Hermione's honour, and so that he could announce the news to the school.

Now, he needede to tell Ron.
********************************************************************
Ron didn't know were Harry and Hermione were this morning, but they often stayed out all night. In Hogsmeade, the head boy/girl bathroom, up some tower, or basically anywhere. It surprised Ron that Harry hadn't got Hermione pregnant yet, because he knew what they did, they were married after all.

Ron never felt alone, he had them, and Harry was also an orphan, so they supported each other. He missed Ginny a lot, and he hated Voldemort for killing them.

Lucky for Ron, he had been been with Harry at Sirius' place when the attack had happened.

He walked up to Dumbledore's office, wondering what he wanted. His first thought was that he was looking for Harry and Hermione, but Dumbledore left them alone for the most part.

"Sir, what is it?" asked Ron when he arrived and saw Dumbledore crying. He saw two cloth draped figures lying on beds in the corner. A boy and a girl by the looks of it. The masculine looking figure looked quite tall, the feminine, a little shorter.

"Is that.........?" he asked Dumbledore in a shaky voice.

"Yes Ron, Harry and Hermione, we found them at the bottom of the astronomy tower last night.

Ron said something that Dumbledore pretended not to hear (A/N between u and me, a hint, 4 letters beggining with f).

"They left you a note" He handed the envelope over to Ron.

By the time Ron had finished reading it, it was barely legible for the ink smudged with tears. It was juist so Harry and Hermione. The ink changed colors, it was in Her,mione's handwriting, so neat.

Before he had knowqn Harry, his mother had told him the story. It was like a fairy tale. Every witch and wizard child knew it. His childhood wish was to be like Harry Potter, and it had been like a dream come true when he had met him. Better. Because they had a friendship so special, nothing could ruin it. Nothing could ever come between the two. Except this.

He walked over to where Harry and Hermione were and lifted the blankets off. Hermione's skin was pale as a unicorn, and her beautiful chestnut hair flowed around her head, like liquid silk. Her eyes were closed, so he couldn't see their deep brown, intelligent gaze.

His eyes wandered over to Harry. He had been tall and muscular from all those years of Quidditch. Now, his skin was as white as snow, and his green eyes were still open. They had always had that sad, haunting look about them.

But Ron noticed something quite strange, Harry's scar was gone. Which, he realised, could only mean one thing.

He looked into Dumbledore's eyes.
"Is Voldemort dead?"
He knew saying that one word would have pleased harry beyond belief, voldemort.
"Yes" he said

Ron returned to his room and looked at the calender, it was October 6. On the 5th, in harry's writing was "Harry and Hermione, 1 year! Lily and James, 19 years!"
