For this story, I will be refraining from writing only in situations of which my self are present. As such, some of these chapters will be written in third person. As indicated by an "NPN" (Not Personal Narrative) next to the chapter title.

I would also like to note that as this is an M-rated entry, some chapters may contain content that others may find disturbing or unpleasant. I shall do a gesture to give a warning at the beginning of that chapter.

Please note that this is a prologue, it will be short.

I strolled through the fields in a very quick manner, the blizzard threw snow into my face. Unfazed by this, I continued my movement. Grell in his reaper form lagged behind me.

"Are we there yet?" He groaned

"Patience, Grell, learn it"

We eventually stumbled upon three people, two of which were lying on the ground and one of which was kneeling over them. She appeared to be attempting to keep them from death.

"...Well, no hope for these three. Come now Grell let's-" Before I could say anything else, Grell was in his butler form helping the young woman who was still conscious onto her feet. Now that I had a better view of her, it was easy to tell at a glance that she was no older than eighteen. She wore a maid costume and had hair only a shade darker than the snow. Her green eyes speckled dimly and she appeared very weak. Grell looked obviously lovestruck by her appearance, and I could not blame him. She wasn't gorgeous, simplistic and plain rather. But there was indeed a different sort of appeal to her.

"Miss! Are you ok?! Can you walk?!"

"Yes yes I can walk." She lied, as soon as Grell let go of the poor girl she collapsed like a folding chair. He helped her back up and supported her weight.

"Sebastian! Let's get going NOW!"

"Hold on a moment, what about the others?"

"Forget them! We need to help this girl!"

I crouched by the other two figures as Grell shouted at me. One of them looked quite young. A blonde girl with a red dress that did not suit her in the slightest for this weather, with a pink vest underneath. It looked terrible and mismatched, but who am I to judge fashion? The other looked only slightly older. She had the same body type but her hair was blue and her dress was pink save a few red lines here and there. They both wore the same type of weird bonnet-cap things. The blue-haired one had bat wings, the blonde had wings that looked like christmas lights.

I looked up, Grell was once again about to attempt his melodramatic suicide. I put a hand on his shoulder.

"Now now Grell don't make a fuss. We can still save these three of we hurry. Now pick up one of the girls" I picked up the blue-haired one, she was thin as a twig and light as a feather. Grell hurriedly plucked the other one up and we hustled at a much quicker pace back to the manor. This time Grell sped ahead of me, obviously not wanting this maid to die.

The whole way back I kept glancing at the girl in my arms. I grew more attached to this person's well-being as we went. I didn't know if it was a parental part of me or something more….but I eventually whispered to myself….

"How could this happen to such a beautiful little demon?"

I made a face of realization at what I just said. But I shook my head and tried to forget about it.
