Yawning, Isabel tucked herself into bed. Pulling her covers around her, she breathed in the familiar scent of her room that she had missed while being away for so long. To relax her body, she concentrated on the muscles in her toes, feet calves, legs and continued up her body relaxing each muscle until she felt utterly peaceful. Looking out the window, she wanted to catch a last glimpse of the moon before her eyelids drifted shut. But out the window beside her bed wasn't a black sky with a shining silver moon. In fact, there wasn't even a moon. Just a red cloud that covered the entire sky, seeming to emanate a light of its own. Sleepy eyelids drifted downwards over Isabel's eyes, but suddenly she jolted out of her half-sleep, her thoughts retuning to the night time sky. Her body clenched her muscles, undoing all her work from when she had relaxed her body. Slowly, her head turned to look outside once more, her brown eyes wide.

The sky was blood red.
