He's not surprised to return to Quantico and find JJ there, still looking perfect and surrounded by files.

He is surprised, however, to find out that Garcia is still there. It's been hours since the case ended and she'd been up for days. Even his favorite insomniac liked to sleep occasionally.

When he gets down to her inner sanctum he finds her cursing. She doesn't even seem to notice him and he gets a chance to watch her for a few minutes. Her eyes are tired behind her classes, her clothes are rumbled and her pigtail braids, which look adorable and sexy on her at the same time, are falling apart, hair sticking up everywhere.

"Baby Girl," he calls softly and she jerks her head up.

"Knocking," she tells him, "Knocking it good."

"Okay, okay, relax, it's just me. I wanted to see what you were still doing here."

She moans softly, "Virus—a big ugly one. I just finished fixing it."'

"Well that's good. You may be a goddess, but you still need your sleep."

She spins her chair towards him, her head dropping, "I'm tired Derek."

The sadness in her voice, the calling him Derek, and not sweet cheeks or gorgeous is more than enough to let him know something serious was wrong, even if he hadn't see the lost look in her eyes.

"I know, Pen, come on, time to put your babies to sleep."

She turns and shuts her computers down. She grabs her purse and stands and suddenly she's swaying.

He rushes forward and grabs her, "Its okay. I got you, baby girl."

"Those pictures, those people," she murmurs as she falls against him.

"I know," he says, "Come on, we're going to get you home, you'll get a good night's sleep."

He gathers her warm, soft body against his as they walk out of the room. His baby girl keeps him sane everyday he out there, the least he can do is chase away her nightmares for once.
