Blending in with Nature

A weird one-shot I've had for ages but was nervous about posting it. It is based on a true event- seriously Millie when she goes hyper well let's just say I now have a whole new definition of the word insane. I always thought that Caitlyn and Lola were good friends but there are very few stories about them so…

Enjoy!

It was their third day back at Camp Rock and Caitlyn and Lola had finished classes and were relaxing by the lake before dinner.

"I can't believe Shane Gray is teaching this year." Lola said rolling onto her stomach, her feet facing the lake as she looked up towards the mess hall.

"Yeah but from what I've seen of him the paparazzi have got him right. He is a jerk." Caitlyn rolled her eyes from where she lay beside Lola on her back staring up at the sky.

"But he's part of Connect Three and he's hot." Lola defended him.

Caitlyn laughed. "You sound like a crazy fan girl and besides Nate is cuter."

"If cute is what you want in life." Lola shrugged. "Personally I go for hot guys." Caitlyn looked over at her and there was a silence between them for a few seconds before they both burst out laughing. It was what life was about hanging out with your friends at a place you love, laughing uncontrollably at things that weren't really funny.

"Hey what do you think of the food this year?" Caitlyn asked once they had both calmed down.

"Way better than last year." Lola replied. "Although that's not hard. A meal of just brussels sprouts would have bee better than the food last year."

"I like brussels sprouts." Caitlyn protested. Lola turned to give her a strange look. "What they're green."

"You have a serious obsession with the colour green." Lola raised her eyebrows. She had a point everything Caitlyn was wearing had something green on. Her laptop and its case were both bright green. "You'd make a good sheep- eating grass all the time."

"Grass isn't too bad." Caitlyn grinned picking some as if to eat it.

"You're retarded."

Caitlyn stuck her tongue out at her friend and sat up to pick a leaf of the tree they were lying under. She stuck it into her hair where it was held in place by her hair tie that was keeping her hair tied back. "Look I'm blending in with nature."

"I rest my case." The two girls looked at each again and burst out laughing. Caitlyn yanked up a handful of grass and sprinkled it over Lola. "Hey." She protested through her giggles.

"Say cheese." A voice called behind them and Caitlyn rolled over on her stomach as well and the two girls laughed up at Barron who was holding a camera.

It came out perfectly. The two girls were lying on their front, legs in the air and laughter written across their face. The lake was sparkling in the background and the blue sky curved down to meet it.

A green leaf was just visible amongst the brown curls of Caitlyn's hair and strands of green were mixed in with the black of Lola's hair. The two girls definitely knew how to blend in with nature!

Yeah I know it's short and weird but hey what's wrong with that. If you spot any mistakes can you let me know- as I have probably told you before I read what I think I wrote not actually what I did. This was going to be the first chapter of a story of the story behind photos from Camp Rock (made up situations). I have a couple more and I will write more at some point but I am now focusing on my new story- Lacrosse which is in desperate need of a new title- any ideas? If you would like any more of these then please review- if you don't then review anyway!!

Thanks for reading- I love you guys.
