Author's Note: Hello! So, I made this FF for Valentine's Day of 2014, my and my sister's third anniversary of playing Silent Hill 4 on Valentine's Day! (Yeah, that's our tradition on Valentine's Day - play SH4. And we love it.) We also eat conversation hearts while playing. We just have to have those. But, yeah. Hope you enjoy!

"Okay, I'll just leave them here, then..."

I watch Eileen walk away after setting a heart-shaped box of chocolates on the floor in front of my door. I lightly pound the door in frustration, then sigh.

"Eileen..."

I walk away from the door and sit on my couch. I lean back and close my eyes, sounds emitting from my bedroom. Cracking and crunching can be heard through-out the room. I stare at the ceiling, letting the sounds crawl into my mind. I quickly shake my head and get up, heading towards the hole that lets me see into Eileen's room. I get on my knees and look into the hole. I see Eileen place a grocery bag onto her bed, then lie down. She crosses her arms over her eyes. I hear cracking coming from above me. I look to see a ghost emerging from the wall above me. Fright overcomes me, but I look on. I watch her eat chocolates and open Valentine's cards from people she knows. She slowly paces her room, scoffing playfully at the apparently corny love poems. A headache floods my head, and I look up. I skip a bit when I see the ghost looking directly at me. We stare at each other for a bit, then he reaches his hand out to touch me. I move back, glancing at the hole, then back at the ghost.

"Why can't you leave me alone, huh?"

I only get a grunt for a response.

"Can't you see that I want to see her? Can't you people let me have that at least?"

Again, no response. I don't know what I was expecting. But, ever still, he stares.

"Why are you staring like that? Bigger question, why am I talking to you?"

I throw my hands up in frustration at myself. Despite my fright, I move closer to the hole. He reaches his hand out to me again.

"I don't want you touching me. I know what you... victims like to do. But..."

I step closer again.

"...if I want to see Eileen, right?"

Before I even realize it, I'm standing in front of the ghost. I gasp as his hand slowly enters my chest. I can feel him groping my heart, pain only slightly radiating through my spine, making my breath hitch faintly.

"You... you can make this hurt, can't you? But you won't... will you?"

He pulls me closer using his hand. I grunt in pain, furrowing my brows. He places his other hand onto my shoulder.

"No matter how lonely you are, you'll never get your heart back. Not after what you've done."

He groans loudly, then forcibly pulls his hand out of my chest, making me stumble back. I hold my chest in vague pain, looking up at the ghost. I watch him slowly turn his head to the hole, then slowly back to me. I just stare, still holding my chest. I blink once as I watch him recede back into the wall, taking with him the blood that oozed from the wall moments before. I close my eyes for a few seconds, then quickly move to the hole. I get on my knees again and look through. Eileen's gone. I look over at my bedroom door and get up. I enter my bedroom and sit at my desk. I write her a love note. It's corny, and she's probably heard it a million times, but I slip it under the door anyway. I know there's a large possibility it will never reach her sight, much less her hands, but I'm not going to think about it like that. I go back to the hole to see Eileen watching TV, laughing. I smile.

Next Valentine's Day, Eileen. I promise.
