The Long Night
Oh ere, behold the setting sun,
That casts its shadow on the grass.
From light's recession we can run,
But finally, night's come to pass.
…
The shamblers rise, and terror stalks,
Creatures of the night abound.
Through King's Crest these monsters foul do walk,
Safety is not to be found.
…
The Spore Queen's will is carried out,
Her infestation over the land spreads.
The heroes we must do without,
Must fight our foes and sense of dread.
…
But ever her plants thirst for blood,
And long darkened is this realm's sky.
We fight, but it's like force of flood,
We fight, and sweat, and bleed, and die.
