"Driving back home
I had to turn right around
There was something i needed to ask you:
Why can't I just spend the night?
It's cold outside and there's
No place else I can go
And it feels so right
Why can't I just spend the night?
We'll keep our clothes on
And we'll leave on all the lights
Only if you like"

- She Wants Revenge – Spend the Night

It had been two weeks since they'd gotten together. Ron had just left; it was late. Midnight, maybe. She wasn't anxious to look at the clock and realise it was actually one-thirty, so she was still laying on the couch in the same position she'd been in for the past four minutes. One hand came up and brushed a lock of hair out of her eye.

There was a knock at the door. She must have dozed off. She stood to open it and noticed her state of undress, so she pulled coat off of the coat rack to wrap around herself. "Yes?" she asked, turning the knob.

Dripping red hair. Shadowed blue eyes. She smiled, and glanced at the dark, wet sky. Her eyebrows rose of their own accord, and she attempted to look unperturbed.

"Sorry- I forgot, but…it's Saturday. My flat-mate was bringing a girl over." He bit his lip. "Could I…uh…"

"Stay over?"

"Well, yeah, but we don't have to-" He stopped, then made a second attempt. "Nothing has to…happen…y'know…"

She kept the smile on her face, but had to work to keep it from widening. "Come in. Take off your coat."

He did so, and she waved the puddle away. Couldn't even be bothered to do a simple water-repelling charm… She pulled her own coat off; he was turned the other direction, looking at a book she had left on the coffee table. He had been otherwise occupied earlier.

And he turned around, to ask her a question or something, but he soon forgot it. "Now, you were saying that we don't have to…" She left it hanging, looking puzzled. "…To what, exactly?" She asked, when he didn't answer.

"Uh…to…um…," he stuttered.

She went toward him, and tangled her hands in his sodden hair. "Why don't you show me?"

And so he did.

A/N: This one was actually written at the end of March, but I only just got around to uploading it. Hope it's good anyway, though. Maybe worth a teensy review?
