"Today is the day that Oda Nobunaga was buried, though it would be more accurate to say that he had died a long time ago.
Should we ever meet again, I hope you can accept the monster that I have become.
Goodbye, My Love."
Eyes wide open she breaks from her slumber. She sat up straight to calm her mind, and as she's about to she noticed... Nobunaga's not beside her. Panic starts to creep up again, even worse so because of the dream.
Her voice weak and broken calls to her love, "N-Nobunaga"
Her eyes wander around where he usually is, seeing nothing. But then she sees, a cup being placed outside.
There he is.
Wasting no time she rushed to him. His eyes had the moon reflecting on them, looking over nothing and everything. Slowly, he shifted them over to her. The blankness in those eyes disappeared as he smiled.
Before Nobunaga could say anything, his hands were held and brought up to her chest. Trying her deepest to warm them up she said, "Your hands.. they're cold."
Nobunaga inclined his head wondering about the sudden worry. He pulled her close to his body and managed to get one hand out of her grasp and around her waist.
With warmth in his voice and lovingly worry in his expression he placed a kiss over her head, "I usually am if I'm not with you." Not only his hands, but his entire existence, his heart would freeze again - and worse so - if not for her.
That line alone made her tremble slightly and she chose to rest her head on his chest. First to feel his warmth and then to hear his heartbeat. She loved him so much.
She looked up with tears in her eyes, "I love you." It was sudden but held so much emotion.
Nobunaga looked at her, holding her even closer and warming her up, "I love you too."
He wiped away a tear that had dared to escape so she also dared to say, "Remember how you say that I'm your strength and not weakness?" Nobunaga listened intently and she continued, "Remember that for as long as you live. Even if death do us apart, I'm your strength who loves you so much that will always wish for your happiness."
Nobunaga had furrowed his eyebrows now and showed some hints of shine in his eyes. He was confused but seeing how serious his love was, he nodded and leaned in to convey his feelings by kissing her with all the love that he has for her.
