Under a tree, swords laid down next to them and cups of coffee in their hands. Lili, Mahi and Devu sat there, starring at the sky. It was silent as Lili took a drink from her cup.
"I'm sorry about the cut." Mahi told her, her voice soft, eyes fully of sorrow. She had cut Lili on the arm while they were practicing with their swords. Lili looked over to her and smiled, one that she always gave her friends.
"It's fine. I'm not hurt." Lili replied. Devu looked up at the sky again, green eyes gazing into the night. He took one hand and pointed up.
"Look." he interrupted."It's the Dragon."
"It's beautiful." Mahi murmured. Lili gave a curt nod as the clouds thickened.
"Looks like rain, we'd better get inside." she said, standing up. They both nodded, standing up next to her. "Listen, I'll see you guys after breakfast." she added, walking the opposite way of her friends.
"Of course." Mahi yelled, waving a hand in the air. Devu gave her a smile and took his twin by the hand. He whispered something in her ear and they both turned and left. Lili stood still for a moment as rain fell from the sky. She blinked and headed home, the rain masking her tears.

Lili opened her eyes and whimpered. That was the last night she had seen them. She heard the sheets of her bed move, the stiff blankets made a noise when you rolled over. But they told you when somebody was looking at you. Lili rolled over and face Garrus, wiping the tears from her face. She tried blinking them away, but then she was sobbing.
"What's wrong?" he asked. Lili was silent then responded.
"A dream, more like a memory. It was the day before those slavers raid my colony." she sat up to the same position he was in. She let the tears fall from her face and fall to the sheet. She moved and fell onto Garrus, he caress her.
"I'm sorry about Mindior." he whispered, running a hand through her hair.
"It's not your fault, I hate Batarians more then ever, it's there fault. The only reason I let that son of a bitch, Balak back on the asteroid heading to Terra Nova, was to make sure and the others didn't die. I know what it's like to loose somebody to Batarians." she cried, tears covering her face.
"You did what you could to help them." he soothed. Lili sighed.
"Maybe, but I still wanted to at least save my friends. Things may have gone differently if I had though." she mumbled.
"There is one thing that makes you feel better." he suggested. Lili moved her head to look at him. Her face was puzzled and still cover with tears.
"What?" she managed.
"You'll see." he told her, trying to have her relax. She got off him and sat on her side of the bed.

Lili groaned with happiness. Adrenaline ran through her veins, her body had never been happier. A smile touched her lips as she fell onto the couch, it continued. She found herself smiling as she kissed him and fell onto the floor. They stopped to get up, Lili held up a hand with two of her fingers up. She waltzed over to her bed.
"Round two?" she whispered, voice soft and purring. she reach over and grabbed him by the shoulders, but he threw her down onto the bed.
He looked at the curve of her body. She noticed and smirked with a shake of her head. "Quit looking, you can do that later." she added. He nodded and they moved closer to the other. Lili laid her lips on his mouth, then closed her eyes and let her body be caressed by him.
Garrus put his arms around her, trying not to cut her. Her skin was soft and warm, her hair like silk. He could feel her heart beat. She might seem alien, her whole body, but not to him.

The two of them laid there. Lili had forgotten about her dream and was happy she had Garrus to talk with, not just talking but, she was just glad to have him with her. He had been there to back her up every step of the way, she knew who she could trust and who she couldn't, he was the one she trusted the most.
