His Broken Cherry Fan

It was Ironic,

Platonic Ironic.

That in the end it was he that cried crystalline tears, shed them in waves, and drowned innocents with their weight.

It was Ironic,

Platonic Ironic.

Because he's the one that broke her in the first place.

He tore her heart out, he dangled it in front of her face and he left her body mangled. He left her soul ravaged. He took her, he broke her.

The village found her, and then they too knew.

It was the cherry petal that cared for the fan; it was the cherry petal who was the only one able to see anything. She was blinded by hopes, but she saw deeper into his abyss.

She alone saw past the glamors and glares, but:

It was Ironic,

Platonic Ironic.

Even though she saw so much and fancied herself understanding much she's the one that fell the most. She lost, she mapped another's soul and lost her own, darkness and shadows crept.

Devastated when he left…

Crying as she fought…

Dead as he cried…

For one that understood so much:

It was Ironic,

Platonic Ironic.

Now he was absolutely devastated…

Now he was watching himself fight vainly against those he named 'friends'…

Now he was the one letting himself die…

It was Ironic,

Platonic Ironic.

I'm not a huge Sasuke and Sakura fan, but this one seemed necessary, they certainly have a large amount of symbolism between the two of them. The Platonic Ironic series isn't dependent on one another, so read at your discretion! Please review and let me know what you think!
