Hello everyone! This is my first attempt at writing a story. Thank you for taking your time to read this. Now without further ado, let's get on with the story.

Disclaimer: I don't own the 100 or any of the characters.

Bellamy POV

I never expected my life to turn out like this. I was supposed to live my life on the ark, always hiding my sister and working as a guard. I was supposed to have an easy life but instead, I got this. My mom was floated for having two children and my little sister, Octavia, was arrested for being alive. Memories of watching my mom get sucked out into the endless abyss of space and guards dragging my sister to confinement while I stood there helplessly, flashed through my mind. I was jolted out of my memories by a groan of pain coming from the girl in my arms.

"Bellamy?" she called a moment later, in a weak voice.

"I'm here, princess. Just wait a little longer. You're gonna be fine," I reassured her in the most confident voice I can muster up.

"Bellamy," she says in a stern voice that makes me look at her," If by any chance I die tonight-"

"No," I cut her off," There's no way I'm gonna let you die. Not if I can do something about it."

"Bell, I need you to hear this," She tells me in the same stern voice," I love you. Don't ever forget that. Even if I do die tonight, I want you to know that I love you with everything that I am."

I turn to look at her, tears flowing freely down the sides of my face a little before changing direction and rolling towards the back of my head. With the tears obscuring my vision and me looking at her, I don't notice the uplifted tree root in my pathway. It was too late when I looked back up. I couldn't stop myself from tripping over the root. Clarke cried out in surprise when she fell out of my arms. Before I could even assess my injuries, I was at Clarke's side making sure that she didn't lose more blood than she already had, caused by the knife she had stuck in her gut. But sure enough, more blood was gushing out of the wound. I wasted no time in picking her up to continue running. I was careful of her wound and tried to avoid any big jumps, as not to cause friction to the knife. Clarke was groaning in pain with every step I took. Finally, after what felt like hours, but was probably only minutes, I saw the dim light of the fire coming from the camp. I pushed myself to run even harder than before. Once I reached earshot of the guards at the gate, I yelled.

"Open the gate!"

I faintly heard one of the guards say,"It's Bellamy! Open the gate!"

Not long after I heard that, the gate creaked open revealing everyone there watching and waiting as I walked through the door, with a strange girl in my arms. As soon as I entered enough for my people to see me, the whispers started.

"Who's that girl?"

"Is that a grounder?"

"Is she the one that he's been running off to see this whole time?"

"Why did he bring a grounder to our camp?"

While everyone was off gossiping, I looked around frantically trying to find Monty. He was the only one who had any kind of medical knowledge. I didn't see him in the crowd, so I assumed he was tending to the sick. I ran straight to the dropship and immediately found him next to the cot that occupied by Murphy.

"Monty! I need your help, please!" I yelled, grabbing his attention.

He assessed the room looking for a place to lay her down. He settled for a row of seats, on the far end of the dropship. He motioned me over with his head. While I layed Clarke down on the seats, he gathered materials to clean her up.

"What happened?" he questioned.

I debated whether to tell him now or after I knew she was safe. Not thinking anymore, I settled for after I knew she was gonna be fine.

"It's a long story, but I'll tell you after. I need to know that she'll be alright," I responded.

"I'll try the best I can, but I'm not a doctor. You'll have to give me some time." He told me.

Please let her be alright, I thought to myself. I can't afford to lose her.
