~Miku's P.O.V~

I let out a heavy sigh. It's either now or never.

It was a Friday after school when I decided to confront my longtime friend about a rumor that I have been hearing about these past few weeks.

We were in an empty classroom that has a perfect scenery of the sun sinking down the horizon.

Megurine Luka, my childhood friend, was sitting on the windowsill, her head slightly turned to the right, gazing at the scene before her. The sun had a glowing effect on her that made Luka look more radiant than usual.

I was sitting in one of the desks in front of her, staring intensely at the wood beneath me. I was trying to figure out how to bring up the rumor without sounding ridiculously awkward.

"So…"

Smooth, Miku. Very smooth. Of course the best way to start a conversation is with 'so'...I'm doomed. This conversation is doomed. My school life is doomed. My relationship with Luka is doomed!

It was when I suddenly felt anxious that I knew I caught her attention. Her stunning pair of ocean blue eyes has the unfortunate ability to unnerve anyone she set her eyes on. The ability could be the effect of the intensity behind those pair of eyes.

"Hm?"

As hard as she tried to conceal it, I could hear the slight amusement dancing in her tone.

She was playing with me. She always play with me. And, frankly, as much as I loved it at first, to get to see a side of Luka who no one else sees, I was getting tired of it.

"...are you dating him?" I wasn't really surprised when I heard my own voice dripping with venom and hatred to emphasize my great disgust with 'it'.

I was referring to that...that thing that claim it's name is Kamui Gakupo. Of course my hatred for him isn't unreasonable. Majority of the students and teachers hate Gakupo with passion as well. He's that arrogant prick who think he's above everyone else which is pure bull if you ask me.

"I wonder…" Luka said playfully.

I wanted to scream in frustration at her ambiguous answer. I have tried these past weeks to get a straight answer out of her, but no luck. Today is the final straw. It's do or die. It's now or never. It's life or death. Perhaps I was being too dramatic, but it was getting exhausting playing cat and mouse with the Luka. The teasing Luka. The flirty Luka. The mischievous Luka.

At this point, I gathered up my courage (or what's left of it) and turned my sight from the wood beneath me to Luka, staring at her straight in the eyes. She looked a little taken back at my determination but that was quickly covered up with indifference.

"No games. Not this time." I said softly, a slight desperate tone in my voice. At this point, I didn't really care if I was sounding desperate.

Luka sighed, "...it's not any of your business, now is it?"

I was a little baffled by that answer. It really isn't any of my business. After all, what Luka and Gakupo do doesn't have anything to do with me. How the heck do I respond to that?

A/N: Yeah...so I decided to leave the old version just in case people wanted to read it or if people liked the other version better than this one. I'm not going to continue the older one, unfortunately. As for the story "Exposed" I'm most likely going to redo that one just like I did with this one.

So...yeah...hope you liked it.

'Til then~
