"Katie! Katie! Wake up!"
Katie Bell woke up, rather groggily, and stared up at Alicia Spinnet, who didn't look any better than Katie felt.
"Wuzgoinon?" Katie slurred. Damn.
"Morning after the Qudditch celebration party," Alicia summed up.
Katie groaned.
"Figured as much, last I remember, the Weasley twins were talking Longbottom into doing a keg stand, so what happened post-black out?" Katie rubbed at her temples attempting to will the hangover away.
Alicia winced.
"Kates... You don't want to know..." She offered cautiously.
"Did I spill my drink on someone? Vomit?" Katie guessed.
"No..."
"Then what?!" Katie snapped, then thought better of it as her hangover swung back with a vengeance.
Alicia mumbled something inaudibly.
"Alicia, honey, speak up or I swear to Merlin-" Katie ground out through clenched teeth as her head throbbed.
"Hey, Bell, I knew you were Gryffindor through and through but that was quite something last night! Didn't figure you for a lacy type," Fred Weasley called out cheerfully as he walked by.
Of course the bugger wasn't hungover. He and his twin easily drunk the whole Tower under the table yet never felt the after effects the day after. That seemed to be their superpower.
Katie's stomach dropped at the implication. Her eyes wide as saucers, she turned to Alicia hoping her friend could disprove her suspicions.
"Did I-?" Katie began disbelievingly.
"Flash the whole common room? Yup," Alicia finished sympathetically. "It was quite entertaining, Potter looked about ready to have a heart attack. Longbottom definitely fainted. Then again, the keg stand may have taken its toll..."
"Can I just die of shame, already?" Katie asked, her words muffled as she held her face in her hands.
"Nope, we need you to help us win the Cup this year, after that, you can flash who you want, then die of shame," Alicia replied.
"Piss off."
"Hey Katie! Nice show last night! What are tickets going to cost for the encore?" George Weasley asked as he made to go join his twin.
Katie threw a pillow at him.
This was going to be a long year at Hogwarts, Katie realized.
