"Let her go, or I'll kill you" I shout out furiously staring deeply into those evil eyes. I dizzily shove Rose out into the light; the only place she will be safe. Dark blinds cover all the windows, blocking out the sun, this was the only way. The others; Mia, Christian and Eddie are now all out safely into the sea of light, now it's only me. I turn to sprint, to get myself away from those two immortals. I scream out angrily, as I see the girl I love running; running to save me. Gosh, she did some stupid stuff sometimes. Isaiah saw her sprinting, and started to turn on her. I try again to signal her out of that ordinary old house. I'm too late. Isaiah stops the attack on Rose, and grabs me from behind; twisting my head in the process. I drop forcefully to the ground.
"Don't touch him" I inaudibly hear Rose mutter. Isaiah does not have any worry in the world for me. I struggle there, not moving. I know Rose is worrying. I am so selfish; this will affect the ability for her to protect herself. What is wrong with me?
The large aquarium bursts open, bringing all the water with it. Incredibly the water wraps around Isaiah and Elena, suffocating them. Rose takes the opportunity and plunges a long shard of glass into Isaiah's broad chest. Decapitating Elena with a rusty, blunt old sword found hanging on the wall. Rose is not done though, that's not how she was raised. She plummets Isaiah with the sword, giving him all that anger she has held for so long.
Rose comes over to me, looking at me like she never has before. Love, Shock, Worry.
"Rose, his dead" Mia mutters holding back her stream of tears.
Cold. I shiver. The smell of my blood lingers in the air. I can't move. I have tried; numerously. My body aches all over. I gradually attempt to crane my neck upward. Rose is standing there, staring deep into my eyes. Tears streaming deeply down her face.
"I can't leave him. Other Strigoi might come." Rose croaks.
She kneels down to me, I could feel her pain. She strokes my hair softly as she rests her head on my chest. Guardians break in from everywhere; stealthily and bullet like.
Rose stays there with me, never moving. Dimitri finds her, picking her up from the ground, wrapping his strong arms around her. He understands; he knows. He mutters something in her ear. Rose cries, and he listens.
I am glad she will be loved. There will always be someone there for her to laugh and cry with. That is all that I want in the world. For my girl, the one I love to be happy.
As my eyes finally go blank, I think only one single thought.
I love you Rose Hathaway, I will always be here looking over you.
