Drabble 2! (Actually, these have been "droubbles," or double drabbles. No, I did not make that word up; go look it up on Wikipedia. I can't seem to be able to write anything good with just 100 words, so for now it's 200. But someday I'll do some real "drabbles." This one is Christmas-themed (how appropriate!), and although I purposefully never state the name of the girl, I'll bet you can guess who it is ;P Enjoy!

~Snow~
Length: 200
If only she could reach through the window and touch it, feel its cold radiance on each fingertip.
"It's beautiful," she whispers. Pressing her nose to the glass, she breathes deeply.
A rustling sound draws her eyes to the great indoors, where the "men" are adorning the tree with baubles. Of course, Ash drops one, which luckily doesn't break.
She sighs. "D'you need help?"
"Not unless you feel like helping," Ash says. His statement is betrayed by his utter concentration as he reaches for a lofty branch. "Er, well, actually…"
She's across the room and reaching for the ornament in an instant. "Let me show you how." Guiding his fingers, she hooks the gold-scripted ornament atop a branch with a deft movement. "There."
Ash stares.
"What?"
"How'd you do that?"
"I love Christmas and everything about it," she says simply.
"Even the decorations?"
"Even those," she replies, returning his grin.
"Girls," Ash mutters. But as he tucks another sphere among the branches with utmost care, she fights the urge to throw her arms around his neck.
Too bad there's no mistletoe, she reflects as her eyes travel again to the window. The snow falls hushed and pure among the trees.
