Soon, she thought. But what's soon? The headaches had started last night. When she had them, they were always accompanied by the thought soon. Gwen didn't understand where the thought came from. She rubbed her temples while Andy looked worriedly at her. He walked over with a cup of water and a Paracetamol.

She looked up at him and smiled, "Andy, I'm fine, really."

He shook his head, determined, "Take it. You're taking the rest of the day off. That's an order."

Gwen sighed and got up, wincing slightly. She swallowed the pill with water and then kissed Andy on the cheek. Andy looked down, grinning, but she didn't notice.

After she left work, Gwen had the sensation of being watched. She looked around, but didn't see anything. I need a break, that's all. I'm just a little stressed out. Yet she had her gun loaded, just in case.

Looking at her mirrors, Gwen noticed a black car behind her. She was unusually paranoid today, and decided to shake the car. She made a quick right and then another right, speeding up. The car still followed her. She felt another headache coming on. This time she saw an image in her head. Cardiff Bay. She turned left and headed that direction.

Taking a wrong turn, she ended up in a dead end street, the car following closely behind her. She parked her car outside an alleyway, blocking it off from the street. Gwen pulled out her gun and ran through the alley. A bullet hit the the brick wall beside her and she glanced back, seeing the shooter aiming from behind her car. She ran ahead to the open area in front of heard the gun being fired again and she felt an excruciating pain in her left shoulder. Biting her lip, she faltered, but continued to run, hiding against the wall, unable to see the people who were following her.

She saw a tall man in a suit running towards her and lifted her gun up aiming it at him, before she saw someone chasing him. Gwen aimed her gun at the foot of man chasing the other guy and shot him, causing him to fall and curse loudly. She had to shoot with just her right hand, and almost missed. Jumping slightly, the man in the suit looked behind him, noticing the other man had been shot. He ran over to Gwen.

"Thank you for that. You saved my life." He saw Gwen's shoulder."Dear God, you're bleeding!"

While her shoulder had stung terribly, the adrenaline kept her going. "I'll be fine." She changed the subject, "I'm Gwen Cooper," she holstered her gun and put her hand out. The man took it.

"Ianto Jones."

"Come on, Ianto. There's more of them." Gwen and Ianto started running.

"Where are we going?" he asked.

The image was still in her head, "Cardiff Bay"

It turned out what they were looking for was just behind some buildings. There was a man in a trench coat who came running towards them. Gwen stopped and pulled out her gun.

"Don't take another step!" She shouted, stepping in front of Ianto.

"Easy, Gwen! I'm not the bad guy here." The handsome man said, hesitantly walking towards them.

"How do you know my name?" She asked, putting her left hand on the gun. "How the hell do you know my name!?"

It was then he noticed her shoulder. He raised his hands in surrender. "Captain Jack Harkness." You need to come with me to get that fixed. Knowing UNIT, that bullet in your shoulder has a tracker and possibly even poison."

True to his word, the throbbing in her shoulder intensified and she saw double. Two Captain Jack Harkness' ran towards her as she fell to the ground.
